Ability to cut 24" tiles

Very impressed with the cut for the price, will be installing a blade for specifically cutting 24" porcelain tiles.

This saw is fine for small jobs, it's nice that it will cut some of the larger tiles (16") however because the blade pulls water from a trough rather than use a pump, you can't cut holes or notches without removing the blade guard and then you get soaked with water. All in all it's OK for smaller non intricate jobs but a top blade with water pump is much more versatile. I bought this saw because I'm a semi retired contractor and didn't want to pay the price for a new professional saw as the moto...

Great saw

Precise cuts, with little to no mess. Use it right in the room The miter gauge is not parallel to blade after tightening. But keep tiles square to tray and there is no problem

nice saw for price. Quieter than the 'angle grinder type'. Blade did have slight run-out but cut was good.Fixed table and sliding table are slightly out of plane which causes tiles to drag as being put through the cut and small tiles tilt a bit. I am going to shim up the roller carriage to level it out a bit. Water splash was minimal. Only when I overfilled it did it cause issues. One thing I missed was the sliding carriage is not centered on the blade; it is all off to the right. So depending w...

Small tiles

Nice portable tile saw, Not recommended for 24"×12" size porcelain had a hard time cutting the long way, but for the price good enough for smaller tile jobs with a Bosch saw blade

Pefect for long cut

I tried a few tile cutter, nothing work better then this one. you can cut with just one hand. water guard is great, you don't get wet like other cutter. only complain is, cutting blade should have lock position. Make sure you push blade firmly in and straight up before you tide the screw. Cutting so fast with table you going to chip your tiles, when you cut to 90% stop and pullback the table and let the blade do it job or you will chip off your tile. perfect water drain system and easy to clean....

Best wet table saw I've ever owned. Period.

This thing is designed to work. Really got to say I like that sliding deck. Nope, you can't bevel tile, but I've got another saw for that. Most folks will put a better blade in it, I reckon. The frame is sturdy, and it has a big drain plug to empty out in a five gallon bucket. It's easy to square, there's a screw on the plate. Yeah, you can cut bigger tile on it. No problem. I haven't had it very long, but it's on a job right now. Other wetsaws all have their good points, but that sliding deck i...

Porter Cable told me they do not make this saw any longer and do not sell parts for it

Don’t buy this saw. Out of the box the saw broke every tile being cut; the stationary side of the cutting table on the left is higher than the moving side of the cutting table on the right. The blade will not stay square to the cutting table fence. When I phoned Porter Cable for help they told me they do not make this saw any longer and they do not sell parts for it. They suggested I return it so I will. This saw deserved a zero rating

Its pretty as saws goAfter 30+ yrs of doing many of my own bathrooms, showers & kitchens, my wife bought me this “upgraded” saw. The deck & slide aren’t even so virtually every cut chips the last 1/4”. Also the adjustable guide won’t adjust to give a straight cut. After several frustrating days and many wasted tile my wife insisted we go buy a “good” sawDon’t let anyone give you this “gift”
