This piece of rubbish is a real con. No ways am I able to record anything. I have tried it in more than one output on my amp and even straight from the pre-amp.No ways does piece of crap work.Now I cannot even get on Xitels's website to let them know. Avoid this rubbish!!!!

This was a ripped off by Sams Club, owned by Walmart. Paid $79.99 plus tax.Poor written manaul. Hard to set up.Window 7 OS is free and friendly using.Do NOt WaSTE YOUR MONEY AT ANY COST.

Do NOT Buy!

I got this worthless piece of crap in the mail last Saturday. I was hoping I could record all my cassettes onto my PC and burn them on to cd, but after I record a cassette onto my pc, it won't allow me permission to open the wave file, saying " you do not have permission to open this file." What a waste of $37.

Replacement of older unit

I replaced an older INport unit. It had quit. This new unit does the same thing the older one did, so that makes it a great item

Records easily enough, but produces a whistling noise when audio input levels are low. Not noticable when levels are high.
