I have not had chance to use or test this power inverter. It appears to be sturdy, and packaged nicely. I was expecting to receive the power cord with the lighter plug adapter, but the 800watt does not come with this type of cord. Reading the booklet explains why. Pretty much does the job
I use this power inverter to power a laptop, webcam, and video camera while storm chasing. The only problem I have is the USB slot. It will not keep up with a smart phone, at least with everything powered up and charging. I fixed that issue by adding a small extension cord.Really this inverter works pretty good. No cigarette adapter
I guess I should have read the product description better, so it's my fault I suppose, but there is no cigarette adapter. Also, the power cord supplied is very short, maybe 4 feet. If you plan to use this you should also plan on opening your hood and clamping it straight to the battery. Not really practical for me. Or you can plan on getting a longer cable or adapter.

It works OK but the wires it came with are real short and not intended for a permanent installation with the "jumper cable type of ends" I had intended on using this in my work truck to power a laser printer. I found out 2 things.1 laser printers do not like a modified sine wave inverter like this one. Mine would not work most of the time with this inverter. POWER INVERTER
I have tested our CPAP machines (2) with a portable battery and it works great. Haven't tested how long the battery will last. Product looks good with battery connectors and built in fan.

POWER INVERTER
I HAVE USED IT ONLY A FEW TIMES BUT IT FUNCTIONED PERFECTLY. I'M RUNNING THREE SMALL AC FANS ON MY PONTOON BOAT AS A TEST FOR BEING ON THE WATER THIS SUMMER. SO FAR, SO GOOD AND RAN ALL THREE FANS FOR ALMOST 8 HOURS ON TWO 12 VOLT DEEP CYCLE BATTERIES.

Exactly as advertised
As long as you wire this, battery direct, exactly as instructed, this will perform with plenty of power and adaptability, perfectly. 5 + stars! As a storm chaser, running lots of electrical gear, I work it hard, and it is flawless...so much so, I will add one more shortly.(hide full review)

Good value for the $$
I have an older house (built 1924) and still have the steam heat.
