So-so

Weird playback issues sometimes, support forums are kind of useless. Updates are rare and the product is pretty much EOL'd by WD at this point. When they do update it's mostly to add or remove stupid little internet apps and nothing to improve playback of local media.

It didn't work for me

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program This may be a great product but for me it just would not work. I tried and tried to get it to work with no luck. I really wanted it to work. I have friends who have the device and they love it. Perhaps my was broken from day one.

Stopped working after 10 uses...

I cannot tell you how disappointed I am in this WD product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I have approximately 7 WD Harddrives and they've always served me well. I thought, "Well, I've had great success in the past with their HDD's, and this has no moving parts, so I'll give it a shot." I bought it two years ago....and before you say, "well then it's a little older, maybe it was just used up".....Um, No....I used it 10 (maybe 15 times, for no more than 20 minutes each time).

No RMVB, wireless cost extra, not smart tv, a nearly perfect

It is an older product, so you don't get so many App like Smart TV or other Android based boxes. For the purpose of streaming content (from both on-line and local network), it is as solid as it can be. No RMVB support and lack of built-in wireless connection (and adapter is around 15, so not too pricey) were two big regrets. Build quality is very good, long lasting it will be.

Love it.

Great product. I love it. Convenient. No issues on it. Streams well and can view multiple file types. Updates automatically. Only is that I wish it could go forward and backwards in chapters. I know it is not a dvd and you can't do that on video files but if it had like preset increments where you can jump by 1, 2, 5, 10mins and so on.
