This is my second review about this product. My 15 months old computer became unusable due to damaged seagate hard drive. Since my knowledge in computer repair is below average, I contacted Geek to fix my computer. They asked me to pay 300+ dollars to install the drive, installing the OS etc. Later I decided to give a try. I installed this hard drive in lieu of old one, installed the OS too and my computer running very fine just for 58.00 dollars instead of 300+ dollars. Thank you Geek. What's

I have been using WD harddrives for years and i have never had any problems with them. they are very quiet and the performance level is awesome What's great about it: noise level I would recommend this to a friend!

Popped the new drive into my Dell Desktop as a secondary SATA drive, formatted it and runs as expected. What's great about it: Simple to install at a great value. I would recommend this to a friend!

It was Great while it lasted....Died in 4 Months
 
So on 9-26-2010 I went 2 Bestbuy and they said to bring it back to there store and they will give me a new one. I asked them if i can upgrade to the WD Caviar Black 1TB and they said yes i just have to pay the extra $54.00 bucks so i did that. Today i installed it 2 my board and my PC cant see it in my Bios or in My Computer. I have tryed hooking it up to all of my SATA connectors and still no luck. I even tryed putting a jumper on #7 & #8 like it says to do if i am running windows XP... So
