nice little 2 line cordless

This review is from: Uniden EXI-3226 2.4 GHz Analog 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID (Electronics) I was looking for a moderately priced 2-line cordless with caller-id and there aren't a lot of choices...Because of the mixed reviews here, I was wary - and bought this under the Radio Shack label so I could easily return to my local store if I had any problems...BUT it's a nice phone. No problems. One feature not mentioned in the "editorial" is that you can sto...

sound clarity.

This review is from: Uniden EXI-3226 2.4 GHz Analog 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID (Electronics) This the first cordless phone we have had whose audio quality is as good as or superior to a corded phone. You can hear people clearly and distinctly even at some distance from the base unit. We have yet to experience reverberation the way you do on some cordless phones. Combine it with a headset you also get hands free mobility and don't lose anything in sound quality. T...

Very disappointing!

This review is from: Uniden EXI-3226 2.4 GHz Analog 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID (Electronics) I bought this phone/answering machine based on some of the other comments I saw here and am VERY disappointed. The static was so bad on the first call I attempted (and switching channels did not help at all) that I had to pull out and reconnect my old phone. I've tested several calls since then and at BEST there is clicking and intermittent static. My 8 year old Sony phone work...

Grossly inferior

Amazon Verified Purchase Poor construction, poor sound quality and lack of essential features, such as visual indication of waiting voice mail, make this product one of the worst possible choices.

Good Solid Unit

I have 3 of these 2-line phones around the house. They all work well and have given no problems. Range is pretty good for the handset, though it does get static when you get more than 40 feet or so. Battery life is very good. One of the few phones I would recommend.

GREAT LITTLE CORDLESS

This review is from: Uniden EXI-3226 2.4 GHz Analog 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID (Electronics) I bought this phone about two years ago just because I ran across it on sale. I just recently started using it. I do not understand all the bad reviews. Some reviewers mention the answering device -- this model does NOT have an answering device, so.... There are all the options I needed. The ring is pure and adjustable, the voice clarity is good, there's no static, the range...

Terrible

This review is from: Uniden EXI-3226 2.4 GHz Analog 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID (Electronics) Returning. As the last reviewer said there is a clicking or popping sound every second or two. I think that this is a 2.4Ghz analog phone, not digital. Could be interference from the wireless network. Changing channels doesn't help much. Any any rate, aside from the popping, the sound is muffled. Our AT&T sounds much clearer. My advice- choose something else.

This is a dog

This review is from: Uniden EXI-3226 2.4 GHz Analog 2-Line Cordless Phone with Caller ID (Electronics) I own two of these dogs, thanks to BellSouth/ATT. I had a set of Siemens 2-line cordless, but a power surge killed them and BellSouth/ATT replaced them with these Uniden models under warranty. The best thing about the EXI3226 is the shipping box. Everything else is junk. The range is limited to one room, so the cordless aspect is extremely limited. The best thing I can say is that ...
