Decent Performance, Very Sleek Design

This laptop is about what I expected. It's very small, sleek, and shiny. Yet, the screen is 1600x768 and the keyboard is quite comfortable for typing. The "nub" mouse takes a little getting used to, but it's ok. As far as the performance goes - it's quite decent for its size. Admittedly, Vista runs slow at some points, but it eventually does the job. Solid state drive runs fast and does not make any noise. This laptop is silent. I have upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate Beta for increased ...

Amazing how much effort, technology and heart has been put into this little wonder. The screen is amazing. Note: be weary if you don't have 20/20 vision as the screen may cause some eye strain. The looks and design are nothing short of amazing. But I do have a a few issues with the design.I wish sony would have placed the charger, the display/lan port, and the audio jack on the left side of the p, while the usb ports were on the other side. This could have simplified the charger/video dongle. Th...

I've owned this exact unit for more than six months now. I purchased it strictly for road trips, as I have several custom-built desktops and a larger/luggable Lenovo notebook at home. It's a terrific travel UMPC. You need to get used to the still-usable smallish keyboard (with a Return key way too close to the up/down arrow keys) and the very tiny fonts/display (even when enlarged to 125%), but still very good. It's terrific having the SDD instead of an accident-prone spinning HDD. There's no ne...

Great Product

Another winner for sony! I have owned many sony computers this one is their best yet. I'm always on the road and this laptop meets all the requirements of a portable pc. Great for using excel and browsing the web. Built in verizon modem works well no difference from my lenovo x300. Only problems I have is they could of used more screen instead of bezel. Also these devices should of came with windows xp. I only recommend buying solid state drive comps when you are using low voltage processors. Ba...

My system upon its arrival was immediately hacked by a unknown third party. Multiple warning messages popping up from someone access intellectual property immediately opening it out of the box. Big disappointment. Tell it like it is. A lot of companies feel like they have a right to access the id chip on the system and do open SSL. Not cool.
