Spend the money and get the good stuff
 
In the days of no money, we struggled with NADY wireless equipment and suffered mightily. Never again. The Channel 70 productions crew has been using these for a few months now and the units are solid performers. The one weakness is the mic clip. Way too fragile and very expensive to replace. We're looking for alternatives. Both the transmitter and receiver are solidly constructed with metal cases. The battery life is good, except in cold weather. The transmitter batteries last longer because

The news networks use these and there is a reason why.
 
The best mic we've ever used. Darn thing sounds 'pro'. Not easy on batteries. Typically we get 5-6 hours of recording before the batteries die. Worth every penny.
