Can't buy battery!

Great GPS-No longer in production
This review is from: Sony NVU44 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator with Text-to-Speech (Gun Metallic) (Electronics) The nv-U44 made by Sony has more features then could be expected. The only problem is that Sony no longer is in the GPS business and is not providing updates since the release of maps 2009a and firmware 1.1 release. The update map if you can find it is very pricey. Luckily I was able find the 2009a maps and updated my GPS. The firmware update is still on their site to download

Very Poor product from Sony of all institutions!

The Unit gave up after very limited use i must say (approx 1 use every month)! Error said that the unit could not initiate start up and that if after hitting the reset button nothing happened I should contact customer service (Sony)! Whats not to love?!

It is small enough to be unobtrusive and versatile enough to use for both interstate and local route quest.
