Awesome Headphones

I love the Sony 1000XM2 headphones. The sound is great and the noise cancellation is great. The app works well on my Axon 7 and improves the experience even more. The noisecancellation is at least on par with my Bose QC-25 and the sound is better. The Sony is not as comfortable as the Bose QC-25. The QC-25's cups are a little bigger and fit my ears better. Having said that, I can wear the Sony headphones for 4-6 hours without any discomfort. The Sony headphones do hold a little heat and the ears...

first day broke

I have had this product for a day now and there is already a piece loose in the right ear that distorts the sound. It seems like the plastic inside is not connected properly and will shake from the sound itself without me even moving my head.

Game set match checkmate home-run touchdown GOAAALLL!

Awesome headphones! I also have the audio technica m50x (youtube / google reviews for these ) and these headphones sound just as good. Out of the box, the headphones sound "ok" but once you download the Sony headphone app and customize / create your own EQ settings, the headphones really take off from there and they sound GREAT! I wouldn't call myself an audiophile by any means, but I've always appreciated good sounding headphones when I hear them. The highs are sharp, mids are warm, and the bas...

As good as Bose QC 35 II, pick your preference

I've compared these to my 2nd generation Bose QC 35's and found that it is an excellent noise cancelling headphone. It's just up to you to choose which features are more important to you. The app that goes along with these headphones is very granular, meaning you can tweak multiple settings to get just the right sound for you. In fact, the app is so customizable that one may get intimidated by it. But, that is not a problem b/c I found that without changing any presets within the app, the headp...

Noise Cancellation is ON only during play

Great product I must say, but I would request for an update in the firmware or in the app to keep Noise cancellation always on without any music playing

Disattisfied product owner

I bought this headset in November, 2017 and have enjoyed using it with all its features. This past week though, I found it breaking apart after only 6 months of use. The plastic parts on the left and right hand side of the headset have began to break off. I called Sony customer service only to be told that the physical damage is not covered under warranty, and their resolution was an offer to purchase a discounted headset. After paying $375 for this headset, I didn't find this to be a satisfac...

They sound good but they WILL BREAK

First of all, the headphones sound good and the noise cancelling works well. The issue is that Sony didn't fix the headband crack issue that they claimed to have fixed. I've had the headphones for a few months now and the headband has cracked at the hinge. Just like it did on the 1000X's. The crack is beginning but tends to make the headphones completely fall apart. I called Sony about getting them fixed, and was told that the warranty does not cover "physical damage". There are no signs of phy...

The CRACK is BACK

The headband cracking issue is back in full force with these headphones! I am an office worker and wear these at my deskjob, and I've taken great care of these headphones, but nonetheless, the interior of the left headband cracked. Even though I used them in a proper and kind manner since purchase, the left side of headband cracked. Cracking is SERIOUS issue seen in previous models, and my Wh-1000XM2 was no exception. Buyer Beware!

Must be connected to Bluetooth to use

So I bought these yesterday (Oct 22) and today I am on flight to Singapore and I turn them on to use as noise canceling, 5 minutes later they shut off. So I contacted Sony support while in Detroit and I find out you must be connected to Bluetooth or be plugged in to use otherwise they shut down to preserve battery. So if the battery dies on my phone while traveling I can’t use these headphones!! Poor design and I think I will return them when I come back from Singapore, no where in documentation...
