After using this Mic for 9 months...

I was in need of a good wireless system for the 50+ summer gigs in my cover bands, so I researched all the good choices out there. I decided to go with a Sennheiser system, as I have used their systems before in million dollar trade show set ups. The E908 TEW is a fantastic mic. It picks up a nice natural trumpet tone, and hardly needs any EQ to make it sound great. The build quality is awesome too, and I have had no problems with this mic feeding back, or being over blown. Trumpet and Trombone Switching in tunes

I use this mic (2 years) with trumpet, flugel, bass trumpet, and trombone, sometimes switching instruments during tunes. I run this mic through a Voicelive unit for sound processing. The reduced sensitivity helps greatly as I used to use ATM350 and other mics which are too hot for sound processing / harmonies, especially for trumpet. Great sound, plenty of room for reverb,....and a touch of delay.

Great Trumpet Mic!

I just purchased this Sennheiser E908 Tew microphone 3 weeks ago and have started using it in my bands. I paired it up with a Sennheiser EW-152 Wireless system, and it sounds great! Compared to the guys using Shure SM98s and AT Pro 35s, this mic cuts thru more, and the sound is more natural. There is a big difference, and now my other friends are considering switching to Sennheiser. I highly recommend it.
