Exactly As I Expected
 
Prompt delivery, perfect drive. Using it for months now and not a single issue. Price was a little steep and the new series came out just after I bought it, but that was my own fault, none on that of the seller.

Review of Samsung 830Series 2.5" SATA III SSD.
 
Awesome new technology compared to the old HD with spinning drive inside. This SAMSUNG Solid State Drive (SSD) is also fast booting drive. I highly recommend it to all new DIY built PC's. . I've build my new PC with Intel I-5 CPU with Samsung SSD and it's like night and day comparison to the old hard drive. The only downside with this SSD is the price. It's still expensive compare to old HD per GB, but you get what you paid for.

Bought to replace a traditional drive that went bad.
 
If you have an old machine that was slow but meets the min requirements for windows 8 and has a bad hard drive, then don't wait buy today, that's what I had and now the machine screams. Fast boot and is like a brand new machine. Not the fastest when you compares to other drives on the market but if your not putting in a brand new box you can't beat it. Samsung makes great SSD's I have had it for about 4 months now with no issues.

This is where it's at!
 
I keep seeing people who complain of games being too laggy on their machines, even when they have a higher Graphics card than me. I think the SSD has a great impact on performance and this is why all my games run smooth. I am very happy with this drive. good price, good quality, good buy.

After reading lots of reviews I decided to pay a bit more for the Samsung SSD and ever since I bought it I have not had one single problem. Very fast, very reliable, very high quality! I am a huge fan of Samsung as I own three of their TV's a smart phone, a tablet, and a digital camera and like all of these other devices I have had not one problem. Samsung is quality and this SSD is no different. My Windows 7 PC used to take 45 to 60 seconds or more to boot into Windows and now its 15
