Excellent "wireless" solution

Long story short...I was looking to set up my 7.1 surround system in the living room in my new house, but had no options to run any number of rear surround speakers.

Sounds Great BUT can interfere with WiFi

Let me start by saying it works as advertised. It is easy to setup, install, and sounds great. We have it spanning 50 or so feet to power rear speaks in our kitchen leading to an open plan living room.

Great for what it's for.

I had read many of these reviews before purchasing. I was nervous about the snapping, crackling, popping, hissing, possible wireless interference, and a glaring red cylon eye staring at me that the others had mentioned. I have a couple tiny Cambridge Soundworks rears that I really didn't want to run 100' of expensive flat wire that I would have to later paint, and then notice out of the corner of my eye. My couch sits about 14' back from a rear projection 65" with the rears on each side. I place...

Great for not running wires, poor for audiophiles.

This product looked just right to solve my problem. I bought a great TV (Samsung 55" Series 8) and the matching Samsung HW-C700 A/V 3D receiver to match back in March. Along with a great picture, I am a musician and audiophile. I have a very good ear for music and the quality thereof. So after making my initial purchase which also included front towers, center channel, and subwoofer (all Polk Audio), I wanted to complete my surround sound by adding two rear speakers. I got a great deal on a coup...

Great solution for hiding wires

I have a condo where it is next to impossible to run speaker wires through the walls. It is a great solution to conceal the wires and keep the house from looking "tacky." I hooked up the wireless speaker kit with my Yamaha receiver and Polk Audio surround sound speakers. It sounds crystal clear as if it were hooked directly to the receiver. I bought this item on sale for $89.99 (reg. $109.99). It is a little pricey for what it is so make sure you buy it when it is on sale. It is truly unique and...

3 Units... All stopped working after a year...

I've bought three of these units and every single one has died within a year or right after the lapse of a year. It's ridiculous to keep having to buy a new one, just to eliminate the hassle of not running wires 20 or 30 feet. I could have saved myself a bunch of time and hassle had I just done it from the first place. It'd be great if BestBuy actually stood by their products, but even after contacting customer support I was basically told that I'd have to buy another one ... that they would do ...

Great Idea, Good Product - but still needs work

I bought this because I now live in an apartment that lets me hang stuff on the walls and i didnt want an eyesore of wires running across my floor or on my ceiling. GREAT IDEA however, i had to go buy a new router for my wireless internet because of interference. If you get this product you MUST own a dual-band router..and use the 5gHz setting. otherwise you will hear clicking, hissing, and other sounds of the like coming from your speakers - or you will not be able to connect to your internet.....

product customer service stinks!

We bought this because we were tired of looking at the rear speaker wires & were excited about the wireless option. super easy set up & worked good for about 6 months. Then it started cutting in & out and made popping noises that worried us about damaging our speakers. Didn't do it all the time so we waited. The receiver was only about 12 feet away & in direct vision so there really shouldn't have been any interference. There wasn't any other electrical equipment nearby either. Although sporadic...

Interference with wireless internet signal

Needed these to complete my home theater system, specifically the rear speakers. Seemed like the perfect solution and they work great. Just one problem, they interfere with my AT&T Uverse wireless signal. Now I'm looking at ways to run hard wire to my rear speakers. Guess I'll contact AT&T to see if moving my Uverse box to another location would help but I don't see that working. If anyone has a different solution, let me know.
