Best in class

This is the fourth Revelution scope that I've purchased for different rifles in the past five years. Reason being: they kick the shorts off of competitors in the price range. I also own a Zeiss Conquest scope, and conducting a side by side comparison, same power, distance, and varying light conditions, the Redfield is just as bright and clear. Even though the Zeiss has more features (frills), it's not superior to the Redfield when you aim and pull the trigger at more tha twice the cost! My only ...

good basic scope

Came in good time, NIB, mounted easily and functions well on a Mini Thirty with Butler Creek folding stock. 7 power is plenty for this little cannon. 5 stars because it works and is exactly as expected. I don't know anything about scopes. It had great reviews.

Very nice value for the $

I have minimal comparison between scopes in actual use. Looking through them at the shop at short distances indoors is a so-so way. With many in this price range that are assembled in the far east, that was a downer but expected. I was pleased these are USA.The following were prospective scopes for a Marlin M60 in the variable 2-7 format: Burris Fullfield II, Vortex Diamondback, Vortex Crossfire and Leupold Rifleman. No Nikon dealers to try the P model so it was not available for consideration. ...

Excellent

My favorite features of this model: Ample eye relief, clicks for adjustment (Leupold Rifleman doesn't have this, compact, clear glass. My family and I have this exact model on 2 ar-15s, an autoloading 30-06, and now a CZ 7.62x39 carbine. Best of all_ Made in USA! BTW, at 2 power great for close up work with AR-15 such as for hog hunting.

Fantastic product for the money

I bought this scope to mount on my son's Browning BLR (chambered in .243 Win). I am very impressed with it. These scopes are made by the same folks who make Leupold scopes and I was not disappointed in the slightest with it! For the price the clarity of the scope is excellent. I also had no problem with eye relief and POI was very close to POA from the factory! So far the scope has held zero excellently, though it has not been subjected to a ton of carry through the brush at this point. If you'r...

Excellent optics at Great Price

This is the second Redfield rifle scope I've bought in a year. The lens is clear and crisp and holds up well in all kinds of weather. The Warranty on the scope is the same as any Leupold so basically you can return it 100 years from now and be guaranteed that they will fix or exchange the item.

Peep on the cheap

Very nice sight picture when looking through this glass. Smooth zoom adjustments and solid clicks with adjustable zero marks, and still looks good at full magnification. I have only used in inside so far, but it's really clear and bright. Should let a lot of sunlight through once we get outside. Finish is kinda rough textured, but may make for added durability. For the USA made quality, warranty, and price, this can't be beat.

nice but not for long actions

I purchased the 2X7 for a deer rifle. Quality of the scope is fine and it's a good value. However, it will not fit on a long action! This somewhat important information is not to be found on the item description or the manufacturer's website. It will end up as a spare for a short action (ie unused).

Great glass for the money

I haven't fully put the scope through it's paces, but mounting and sighting in was a breeze. I did not have to adjust the focus to get a very crisp image. The eye relief works very well for me as I have this mounted on an AR platform using the a Leupold IMS system.

Too short

I don't have a clue why, but scopes are getting shorter. This scope has barely five inches of tube area available for the mounting rings. That makes it difficult to mount on some rifles without using special rings/mounts. It is recommended that you check your rifle's needs before buying this scope. I didn't and it wouldn't work on my Savage 99 with weaver mounts. I swapped it out for a scope on one of my other rifles. Optics are clear and it seems to perform okay. The small objective mean...
