Wireless rear speakers

The main feature about the this surround sound system is that the rear speakers are "wireless" in that you don't have to run speaker wire between them and the DVD. The rear speakers aren't actually wireless. They connect to a receiver through speaker wire. The reciever needs to be plugged into a normal AC outlet. But, the receiver does not need to be connected to the DVD player, so you don't need to run speaker wire across the room. The subwoofer also acts as the tra...

Best features in this price range

I got this set for about 20 percent less than listed here, so I was very happy with the setup for the money. The system has all types of inputs (component, SVideo and RCA) and has 2 auxiliary rca jacks for audio inputs from your television/satellite. The sound is pretty good. It isn't as good as the higher-end Bose system, which is my only point of reference, but for 1/4 the cost, it's great. The "wireless" is a misnomer as the only wires that you don't have to use are ones connect...

Where shoud I begin...

Features: Half Wireless Rear speakers. --> There are wires on the back, and in front. It's just the wires that connects the front and back are not there. Still lots of tangled wires. Divx Support. --> But not FULL COMPLETE support. Some play, some won't play. For me, about 60% success. Pretty disappointing compare to Philips 642. 500W sound. --> Now that is a total BS. I don't know where the other reviewers put theirs for good sound (I am assuming either they are ...

No power after just 4 months of use

The wireless system is just horrible. For the brief moment of use which is barely four months, I had to deal with statics and loss of signal from the main unit constantly. The distance between them were maybe 8 to 10 feet at most and signal kept dropping with static. Then the power went out on the unit that connects the rear speakers and took a month and a half to repair. Its a total waste, I'd spend little more money and get a better one that works!!!
