I bought this product (Quirky Wrapster) and the Sumajin Smartwraps Earphone Cord Manager at the same time to do a comparison. Sumajin Smartwraps Earphone Cord Manager When the cord is wrapped up, the Quirky Wrapster creates a much more comfortable shape in my pocket than does the Sumajin Smartwraps. It is also faster to wrap and unwrap the Quirky. Finally, the Quirky has this nice feature that you can use it as a stand for your device. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 which is a little th...

Love this contraption. It's simple but works. Having broken a few pairs of earbuds since I threw them into my gym bag or purse, this has helped me keep a pair of earbuds in tact. It's smaller than I thought it was going to be, but works perfectly with standard apple ipod earphones and another pair that I purchased. No more detangling every time I get to gym! It's unwrap and go.I've found it works best if I take a moment and slip the ear pieces into the top slots, then wrap the cord around the...

At first look this seems like a good idea but it takes a while to get the headphones under each side. Also, the end of the cord does not stay in place so i end up wrapping it underneath a coil which causes it to come apart in my bag. I've seen other products that seem like they'd work better.

Straightforward product, so there isn't too much to say. It's difficult to get the left/right cables in their channels. It doesn't accommodate in-line controls/clips very well unless you wrap the cord based on their location on the cord. This product does its job, but it could be much better. You have to unravel the entire cable to use your headphones whereas similar items allow you to unravel from both ends and shorten the overall length of the cable while in use. I'm back in the market for a h...

Wow, what a piece of cr@p this is. I bought it based on the reviews and thought this would be a very simple solution to my earphone storage needs. Boy am I disappointed. First, the mic section of my iphone earphones does not wrap around and lie in the flat part of the wrapster. it hits the top edge no matter which way I try to wrap it. Obviously that's not going to work at all. I guess you could wrap it in such a way and leave a bunch of slack on it so it does lie into the flat part, but what's ...

I've used several cord wraps for my iPhone headset, and believe this is the best one yet.Pros+ Cord won't tangle+ Cord won't kink (as long as you wrap it gently)+ Cord won't retain some weird twisty shape+ Easy to unroll+ Easy to rollCons- Looks silly hanging around your neck- Heavy hanging around your neck (note to Quirky: make it with a honeycomb design to keep rigidity but reduce weight)Overall, a winner.Quirky, if you can make it slightly better using a honeycomb design, that would be awesom...

i ordered one black wrapster and liked it so much that I ordered another for my spare headset. The second one was white and not as sturdy! The rubber squooshes when wrapping the headset with any kind of tension. Kind of upsetting. The rubber just isn't as strong. It does the job I guess. In general the combo cord wrap and stand is a neat idea! I just wish that in "stand" mode it would angle the iPhone 4 slightly upwards so that it's not perpendicular to the table it's sitting on. The way it is no...

this is supposedly an improvement on a previous version that by looks, worked perfectly. The biggest problem is that the ear bud cords, from any vendor except one where the cords are huge, do not stay within the rolled holes. they slip out because the rolled holes are not tight enough to keep the cords there, after putting the cords under them. I have two that i bought from quirky, and I have to use rubber bands to keep the cords where they should be. good idea, bad design, no field trials w...

It's a piece of rubber. It serves its purpose. It comes in inoffensive colors. It probably costs about a nickel to stamp out on a machine and sells for a geometric markup. But, like I wrote, it serves its purpose. You don't need it, but you won't regret buying it.

very good design. better than most similar products. Two potential improvements: the end of cord should be clipped somewhere; the cords sometimes may slip out of the tunnels.
