Great performance

We have at least three of these in class/meeting rooms on campus and they work pretty well. The ease of use and the ability to use a remote have been useful, especially the feature to put the unit on standby/wake up via the remote. We have had an issue with cell phone interference with certain carrier(s), but that has not been a real problem.

Clean, quiet power

I bought this amp to use in a small chapel setting in the Assisted Living facility where I work. It provides clean, quiet sound. The EQ feature is a nice addition for an amp in this price range.

Good amplifier

I use this amp as a general purpose stereo integrated amp it will amaze you with its effortless sound. I would have apreciated a balance control, there isn't one. The remote lacks a "mute"; would be handy when the phone rings. There is very good power response. The amp will easily drive most speakers. The volume knob turns continuously in both directions; no stop. No technical specs in manual!!! WHY???

Great sound, but.....

It sounds great, but the instruction brochure was written by an idiot, and leaves lots to be desired; description of how to use a tuner, CD player, phono very poor. My unit arrived with a broken foot. The remote is black in color, with gray lettering in .01 font--very hard--no impossible--to read. The graphic eq. does not work with the remote. No balance function on remote or unit. The volume tends to increase or decrease on its own. I'm probably going to return for repairs or replacement....

Sound Quality and Instruction use.

Fairly the sound is very ballanced to every channels, it's quality of sound is better than a BOSS system or a 5.1 channel amplifier or theather system. In order to control an equipment orther than the Audio input selection by remote; the equipment, for ex: an cd player need to be conected up to the remote controlled conecters that is located at the back of the receiver. Its is also the same to every input except the AUX, in order for the Equalizer butten that is located on the receiver to functi...

Easy to Operate + Great Sound = A Happy Customer

To judge the value and usefulness of my opinion, one must understand where I'm coming from. I needed an amplifier which was both affordable (I'm cheap that way!) and which would accommodate multiple devices. Specifically, I needed to connect and be able to select among a TEAC reel-to-reel tape deck, a Panasonic cassette tape deck, a Thorens turntable (yes, I still play vinyl), and a CD player. These beautiful antiques (well, all but the CD player) have been with me since the 1970s and I was in...

Does what I need

System info: Yamaha RX-V663 receiver @95-watts /channel and a Yamaha CDC-697 CD/Player. Speakers, Cerwin Vega VE-12 3-way towers, a pair of Polk Audio R150 bookshelf speakers and a Polk PSW-125 sub.I recently purchased a pair of VE-12 towers with a power handling rating of 300 watts so I needed a good amp to go with them. The Pyle Pro PT-600A 300-watt amp offered what I needed and the price wasn't bad. It makes my new Cerwin Vega VE-12's pound. It only offers connection for one pair ...

This review is from: PYLE PT-600A 300 Watt Stereo Amplifier (Electronics) i needed a good quality amplifier to replace my now defunct old panasonic from way back in the 80's that i had.of course i didnt want to spend too much money and to be honest,i had never heard of the pyle name before so for me it was a risk taker.but oh what a surprise,i liked the way it looked right out of the box,and when i hooked it up to my old pioneer tower speakers it was amazing.great sound,power,we...

Nice Product

I never had Pyle P600A 300 Watt before; however, it worked pretty well and had all options that I expected.

Not bad for the price

Aside from looking like a Heathkit project (faceplate color scheme), this amp is a good value for the money. It sounds nice and offers a host of inputs. The preset EQ settings work better than adjusting the bass and treble control manually. The drawbacks include (as mentioned earlier) the faceplate isn't that eye-appealing and I wished that a balance control and second speaker outputs were incorporated in the unit. Overall this amp sounds great!
