Good Starter Flash
 
I wanted a little better flash without having to use the flip-up flash on the camera. This flash has worked very well for what my needs were (since I am still learning). Fits the Pentax K-x very well with a nice snug fit, does not move around or shake at all.

Stay away from this piece of junk as far as possible. This is pure junk. I ended up returning it. Probably made in China (where else do they make such crap)?

I was looking for a good flash but in no way was i paying $200.00. Price of $49.90 was it, with hope that it would be the way it was presented. Yes, value for money, can't ask for more. Flash even had some features not present in high-priced ones.

Great flash!!! For $40 you can't beat it. Check out my picture of Gizmo in the user submitted photos. This is pretty much the exact same flash as the Sunpak DF3000 flash they sell at Walmart for Canon and Nikons (and that one is $20 more!) I'm using this on my Pentax K5-IIs in manual with full power flash. It's a little tight of a fit to get it in the hotshoe so I filed down the plastic sides of the mount on the flash a little and it squeezes in there, lol. I just got it yesterday and I am

simple flash.
 
it is a very simple flash, with no adjustments whatsoever, but if you use the recommended settings it will do fine. you do get what you paid for, so the performance is not amazing. i would recommend this for a remote trigger and an umbrella in anyone's home studio.
