Waste of money
Overpriced and very short. Don't waste your money. Not needed with Pioneer radios. Just use any Ipod cable dor a third of the price.

iPod Cable that comes with iPod does same thing
If you connected the USB connection from the back of the head unit when you first did the install simply connect the white iPod adapter you received with the iPod into the USB and it will work just the same. Free is better than $29.99.

Overpriced
You can get an identical ipod to usb cable at cablesforless for $5.95. Never buy a brand name cable. Never buy a cable, especially normally expensive ones like this or HDMI, from a major retailer.

Perfect
I ordered this item not expecting much but thought it might be at least functional without spending $100 and disassembling the dash again. surprise, surprise, it works great, I can control the IPOD (touch) from the head unit, get full display of song and artist, and it charges the IPOD to boot. Highly recommend.

Expensive iPod to USB cable...
This is an overpriced Ipod to USB cable, if you need to connect your iPod to your radio, use any iPod cable and connect it to the radio's USB connectors.There is no sense on buying this cable if you can get other for half the money....the only 'plus' this cable has is the connector cover, but its not worth the high price...

Yes, it's an IPOD cable but 10x better
Yes, you can just use a regular ipod cable, I tried several including an expensive Griffin. They all had the same problem, if you move your phone much, the charge feature will often disappear. With the pioneer cable, that problem went away. The fit is far better and more secure. If you don't care about charging, then you don't need a cable anyway, just use the bluetooth. This cable was worth the money, as it's far superior to any ipod cable.

I bought this cable for use with the stereo DEH-4200UB, but I discover that I can use the normal Ipod cable without anything else. So it was just a waste of money.

This Products does not work on the avhp5700dvd bought,it with thecd-ub100 and the screen says N/A and it doesn't work. Would not waste yourmoney on this.

This cable works great. It allows the seamless connection to my iPod video, and displays the artist, song, album, etc.Also charges the iPod too. Good stuff.
