I've owned one going on three years - easy and recommended.

This particular product, while no longer supported by Pinnacle, was a worthwhile purchase in the long run:
- Quick and easy installation process.
- Fair video quality.
- Product uses MP4, which is the format compatible with most iPod units.
However, I do have a few of annoyances I've found over the past three years:

No Audio Defeats the Purpose

This product is pure trash. I actually bought it at a local Microcenter but it does not pull audio from any device I own. The cables are not the problem as I've tested them across different platforms. The unit I bought is pulling video but no audio. It's worthless and now I get to waste more of my time returning this piece of junk.

Does Exactly What I Wanted

This product does just what it says: Converts old VHS tapes to digital format on your Mac. Luckily, I still have my old VHS player - you need to play the videos in order to convert them to your Mac. My only wish is that you could adjust the resolution that you import at - but the resolution of old VHS tapes is bad to begin with, so that's not this product's fault. Very easy to use, great product!

Decent, but the audio stinks

The capture card is OK, and is indeed one of the few choices you have to go with if you are using a mac. I've been recording some xbox-live gameplay and it has turned out pretty well. However, one major flaw I have found is the audio quality. Explosions/loud noises do not sound good when re-watched on the computer. The visual quality isn't the best either, but it is about what I expected to be. The
