A bit below expectations

I was looking for BT enabled phones which I could use with my BT headset. I have an existing DECT 6 system manufactured by Panasonic and am extremely satisfied with it. So I thought I'd try this out.

Great landline phone with BlueTooth capability

What's great about it: Bluetooth What's not so great: Nothing that I've found yet I use this phone, together with my BlueTooth headset, in my home office for making handsfree conference calls. I can take meeting minutes with ease, or take advantage of my freedom of movement to multi-task around my office during a call. Registering my BlueTooth headset with the base unit was a breeze, and I have not yet experienced the problem with dropped registration that some other writers have complained ab...

WORKS GREAT!

What's great about it: Link to Cell and Range What's not so great: Nothing so far - had the phone almost 10 months I do not know what happened to my previous review but I was checking stock to see if it was avail as I am giving one as a gift for Christmas. This phone works great! As for the comments on losing the blue tooth connection, it tells you that your cell phone has to be within so many feet from the actual base. Great range! Clear calls on blue tooth. Able to take a call from my cell o...

Clear with good range and awesome bluetooth

Some folk, myself included, at first think all the menus are driven by entering stupid codes that are impossible to remember. This is very poor manual writing on Panasonic's part. There ARE on screen menus on the handsets and you CAN access every option from the hanset without the codes! I find the menu system not as user friendly as some phones, but the rubber meets the road with excellent clarity and good range. We use it in a very long ranch house and it is clear from end to end and I have wi...

Great Phone !

I originally went out to get a speaker phone as I host conference calls often. My cell headset seldom lasts but a few calls. This phone is perfect. It was very easy to setup and connect to my blackberry. The speaker on base unit sounds great. The folks on call couldn't tell I was on speaker phone. This phone well exceeded expectations. Nice Job Panasonic.

Excellent and Timely

We chose not to get a land-line when we moved into our new place, she not seeing any point since we both had cell plans on the same "Ver" service, but using tiny cell phones, and worrying about battery charge, etc. was driving me crazy, so when I stumbled on this very timely idea from Panasonic, I figured it was worth a try, despite some buyer's complaints.

great product..... when it works!

Having no land line, I was pleased to find this item available. True to form, this Panasonic handset is very comfortable to hold for long periods of time. Setup is relatively easy for someone familiar with such products. The first time I linked to my cell phone I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. It received incoming calls flawlessly, even ringing with my cell phones ringtone. All was well for about a week until one day I got an incoming call and only my cell phone rang. Somehow for n...

Excellent Phone Quality

What's great about it: Everything What's not so great: Nothing at all This phone is one of the best telephones i have ever owned! I'm a electronic junky and I am always buying electronic gadgets and such. The talking caller id, the built in speakerphone in each handset as well as in the base is great. I dropped one of the handsets of a sawhorse onto concrete and it had no problem with the impact. The Ringtones are fabulous, the display is great and the phone just feels perfect. The bluetooth i...

Excellent Phone I Love it !

What's great about it: Connects to my wireless phones easily. Good Range, large text, easy to use. What's not so great: I guess the volume maxes out before it gets too loud. I am really pleased with this Bluetooth enabled phone. I tried others and this one is more intuitive and the battery lasts longer. (My perception) This phone has 1 talk button for all incoming calls, with other phones you had to look to see if the incoming call was a cell or LAN line and then select the appropriate incomin...

Excellent choice

We have two cell's and a landline, and the idea of an integrated solution was terrific. So far it has lived up to the description. It is working fine with both phones, and four handsets, and a landline. Programming was straightfoward, but the code keys and need to have the manual at hand is a bit arcane, it could easily be menuized. But that is a momentary hassle. Range was appropriate, about the same as a prior 2GHz phone. Sound quality was excellent, both at the handset and with a wired headse...
