Centered Pad

The strap seems to be well-made and sturdy. I like the wide, dense padding on the strap. The buckles are reliable. However, the strap does not seem to be designed correctly for carrying the tripod on your back. The padded section is spaced approximately equi-distance from each end. This works fine if you want to carry the tripod at a horizontal angle under your arm. But I want it diagonally down the length of my back. For this arrangement, one end of the strap needs to be longer, to reach...

Op/tech is a quality product. Nice padding, with quality straps and buckles. Works quite well.

Great with Manfrotto Video Tripod Kit

I've owned the Manfrotto 701HDV,547BK Video Tripod System Kit for a couple of years now. It's great, but it doesn't come with a carrying strap, nor does it offer a steel ring to attach shoulder straps with a spring clip. So I've just been carrying it around in my arms, which gets irritating and tiring. Then I discovered the Tripod Strap by Op/Tech USA. It has adjustable loops that fit around the bottom of your tripod legs and just below the tripod head, and then they can be unclipped when needed...

Very Useful!

As a nature photographer I use a tripod a good deal of the time and thus spend a great amount of time lugging one around. I ordered this strap on a wim and after sending in the order I wondered if it had been money well spent. Two days after the strap arrived I had no doubt that it had been money well spent and I now can not imagine being without this strap. I own a 6 lb tripod and the excellent design of this strap and ample padding make carting the tripod around a pleasure. Plus the quick rela...

Useful Product

This is a very useful product to have. Tripods are easy to leave behind because they are awkward to carry around. This carry strap will make it more convenient to take my 055XPROB along so I will have it when I need it and use it more often.

Work exactly like the description

It's exactly what I was looking for. I just want a strap to carry the tripod from the car to the scenic location. Not planning on using it for a hike.

Solid performer

Comfortable to use and seems well built. The end that wraps around the ball head may interfere with ball head use.

Just Right

I have an old style Manfrotto tripod and head. It is a beast but also rock steady. I use it for landscape and when I shoot sequences. I had been carrying it in its bag but that required taking off the handles from the head to fit the bag and the bag was just one more thing to carry. I went for the op/tech strap based on price and some reviews. Glad I did. The two loops allow it to fit my tripod easily and the quick detach makes it easy to set up. The shoulder pad is large and soft and it ...
