Just what I was looking for

This wrist strap is just what I wanted. Something that would allow me to hand hold my D700, still mount it on a tripod, not be in the way like the straps that wrap around your hand (I can't reach my buttons with those straps) and still feel secure and not worry about dropping my camera. The OP technology behind their clip seems very secure. I don't like neck straps with several pounds of gear hanging on my neck for hours, but I do like this strap.

Comfortable and convenient

This is a comfortable strap for folks who prefer to hand-hold their camera. It's plenty big for huge hands, strong enough to catch even heavy SLRs if they slip out of your hand (don't hang the camera by the strap, though -- you can pull out the lug; hold it in your hand and rely on the strap as a life preserver if you drop it), easy to attach and remove, and inexpensive. If you use Op/Tech straps, chances are the strap will use the same clips, handy if sometimes you like the camera hanging arou...

Very comfortable

I loathe neck straps, this is a perfect alternative. It's easy to unclasp after mounting the camera to a tripod and re-clasp "before" un-mounting ;) It's pretty comfortable and feels secure. I like the fact it's just plain black, no neon lettering telling the world you have an expensive camera for the taking.

Excellent Versatility

I love the extra level of versatility that this offers. My neckstrap has quick disconnects and so does this wrist strap. I can alternate between the two as the situation dictates. I usually prefer holding the camera loose in my hand without the neckstrap, and the wrist strap allows that without the fear of dropping my pride and joy. There are times, however, when I need my hands free and switching over to the neck strap only takes a matter of seconds. The neoprene is comfortable and it feel...

Comfort and utility

I use this strap on a Canon G9. It is far more comfortable and easier to use than both the neck strap that came with the camera and a different wrist strap I bought because it was available that was thinner, narrower and didn't feel as secure.

Exactly what I Needed!

Very strong and reliable. I trust this wrist strap with My Canon 5DII w/ battery grip and Canon 24-105L F/4 lens. The strap length is a bit tight when rotating the camera to portrait mode. I ordered the op/tech system connectors (extension) which aleviates the problem. Gives, "piece of mind" when carring your camera around without a neck strap.

Perfect wrist strap

I attached this wrist strap to my Sony ax2000, it does the perfect job. It's not too long and not too short, the material is strong and doesn't feel cheap at all, it's also very comfortable! The clip can be undone and reattached with the hand that's in the strap. The clip isn't that cheap plastic that looses its hold after a month.I need to strap my camera on so it doesn't get knocked out of my hand when I'm doing my filming. It hold up to 10lb and that's more then my camera and equipment weigh....

Great Product!

I use this in combination with the Super Classic Strap-Uni Loop (Black). A perfect combination. When I don't need the regular strap, I can just use this.

SLR Wrist Strap

I use this for my Canon t2i for video and photo. It is a great alternative to the standard neck strap. Stays out of the way and can be tightened without constraining your wrist. It's very comfortable! It's a great price and it looks nice too! Definitely a good buy.

Better than bad

Provides some confidence handling the camera in tricky situations, and is lighter/smaller than a neck strap.Clip makes it easy to take off if you're working from a tripod. The tether was a little tricky to attach to my 40d, but it just took a few minutes to get set up. Neoprene is okay, but something with less springiness would prefered.
