Easy to hook up
I have a 1980 pioneer sx-3900 reciever that pushes out 120w+ per channel. ( back when they made stereo eqiupment) I bought a cheaper speaker selector switch a few years ago...... bad idea. Works great
Works great. It is easy to connect the speakers and the protection circuitry works well. I have been using it for about 3 months to distribute music to 6 zones within my house. Quick and easy to setup. Its small size and the fact that it does not require power meant I could hide it in a small cabinet.

Great Machine
The Crutchfield team of advisors recommended the lower powered version of this selector and I decided to go with the more expensive one due to its ability to handle more power and I am NOT disappointed. The music throughout my home has been transformed. I was able to turn the power on my Yamaha amp/receiver all the way up without distortion and without the amp shutting off automatically. quick and easy
great product. quick and easy to install, it even comes with sticker labels
for any room you can image (including the Dungeon :-)
doesn't take up much room and has a very clean look to it.
I have 12 speakers hooked up to this and then to an Onkyo-8522 receiver.
Turn them all on at the same time and crank it up, this thing can handle it
with no prob.

The Niles HPS-6 is very easy to set up and to use.
The Niles HPS-6 has very good power handling capabilities and the protection circuitry gives peace of mind for the safety of your amplifier. The set up was easy and the small pre-printed labels are a nice touch.

Saved me a lot of money
I moved into a house recently that has 4 pairs of speakers set up around the house. My initial thought was to find a distribution amplifier that I could use, however those turned out to be much more money than I wanted to spend.
