Best Rangefinder. Crystal clear.

I have bought at least 7 Range finders these past few years. This by far the clearest and easiest to aim range finder. I cmpared this side by side with my Bushnell and TecTec and it is sleeker and cleare than both.PROS:1. It gets the range the same as the others. It can give you slope if you are not in a USGA tournament, but you can turn off slope if you are going to be USGA compliant.2. It is tiny and slim. Very easy to put in your pocket.3. Clearest optics. it is the brightest most brilliant r...

Smallest rangefinder I’ve ever used! Very accurate and easy to use!

The Good:- Very compact, smallest one I’ve ever used- Extremely easy to use, just put the battery in and pretty much turn it on, point to the target, press power button again and read the yardage- 2 measurement modes: slope adjusted and actual distance (I always use slope adjusted)The Bad:- Does not take a standard battery but most rangefinders take the CR2 battery- If you have very large hands the rangefinder might actually feel too smallThe Bottom Line:I play quite a bit of golf and have used ...

This goes along with the myriad of clubs purchased over the years – all in a quest to best my sons and now my golf buddies

My first impressions: This rangefinder is FREAKISHLY FAST!Over the many years I have purchased more rangefinders than I will admit to my wife, also two golf watches and a handheld golf GPS. This goes along with the myriad of clubs purchased over the years – all in a quest to best my sons and now my golf buddies. I have settled on the rangefinder exclusively as I can measure to anything: the group ahead of us, the markers cemented into the practice facility, to the restroom, and of course to the ...

Good design, 4x optical power, slope adjusted rangefinding capabilities

I have several Nikon rangefinders and a Simmons hunting rangefinder. If you're looking for a hunting rangefinder, those are a lot less expensive. The 20i is basically an updated version of whatever 4x Nikon golf rangefinder they had before. I have a CoolShot AS with 6x optical power that was replaced by the Coolshot 80i VR that is about twice the price of this 20i. The 6x optical power sounds ridiculous but it is very useful on the golf course compared to 4x optical power. The 20i is a good rang...

Not just for golfers! Hunters/Sportsmen love it, too!

This rangefinder is lightweight and compact, perfect for...not just golfers...but me, an avid hunter! The angle feature is especially great when I'm using a treestand (which is the majority of the time) or gauging distance on hills (which is also typical where I hunt).I found the Coolshot 20i easy to use and accurate. It's small size makes it easy to add to my gear without adding much bulk.

good basic slope version range finder

made in China. And is rainproof. You gotta get slope version - although it can be turned off. Comes with 2 year warranty.

Similar to Coolshot 20 but with slope function

Apart from the exterior color, the main differences between this and the popular Coolshot 20 are the addition of the slope function and the subtraction of some viewfinder magnification, 4x vs 6x. At 4.8 ounces (without battery), it's 0.4 ounces heavier than the 20, though still the same size, 3.6 x 2.9 x 1.5".The slope function adjusts your yardage upward if the target is elevated and downward if the target is lower. (Click on the little illustration in the Amazon product description that shows ...

compact unit with excellent clarity

This is our first rangefinder and my husband and I are impressed by its clarity and utility. This handy little device is excellent when shots go awry and we fall into a part of the course where it is difficult to gauge distance to the green. The unit itself is very compact which I like but my husband finds less appealing. We golf together for fun and I for one am far from skilled, but this little tool is helping me get a better grasp of what I am supposed to be hitting (even if my ability to hit...

Yes it fast in locking in on a target and nice clear optics however trying to use it while on the golf course is really hard as it is extremely difficult to keep it steady and actually lock it on the item you want. It doesn't give you any kind of feed back on what you are locking onto. I had to keep trying many times to determine if I was actually locking onto the flag or specific tree etc... as it is so shaky and almost impossible to hold steady. Got to the point I had to try and steady myself ...

Easy to use and more birdies

I’m not sure what you get with more expensive models but this one does everything I need; very user friendly (figured it out in no time) and picks up the distance really fast. The small size is convenient too...fits easy in palm when stabilizing. I’ve played 3 rounds with it so far and I am sticking the pins more often; only thing that’s changed is having this finder take the guess work out of my yardage.
