Excellent Optics for the meager price

I could not be happier with my new Aculon A211 16x50. At deer hunt open day, this binocular did not disappoint.\nThe only negative is the Objective len cap was lost due the slot-to-strap hook. I am requesting a replacement from Nikon.\n\nHighly recommended.

Maximum magnifying power is 12 not 16

I purchased a Monarch 5 12x42 from B&H which works great, but I needed more magnifying power to see more details on birds. So I thought I give the Aculon a shot. I didn't expect it to be brighter (it has a smaller exit pupil) or clearer than the monarch, but definitely expected it to have more magnifying power. To my disappointment at its best, it is at par with the monarch 12x in terms of magnification, and as expected, darker and less clear. It is unclear to me that based of what kind of scale...

Hubby likes!

Got these for my Dad and my husband for Christmas, my husband loves them, said he could see the flea on the wall from across the room! We don't have fleas, so not sure what he saw, but he was very excited to have them.

Awesome

I have a pair of 10 X 50 Bushnells that I have used for game viewing for years. Recently upgraded to the 16x50 Nikon. What a difference in clarity, focus light etc. Amazing purchase

Big & Beautiful Bang for the Buck!

Can you say "Superman"? Now I can, with these far reaching binoculars! What a treat to see things so close-up, with an excellent sharpness in the center field of view, as I have discovered, with all the Aculons I have tried so far. Sure, you get some shake from hand-holding these 16x bins, as any higher power binocular will behave in your hands, but they are still very usable without a tripod, no doubt at all for me-and I do shake a bit, of course. This very this favorable viewpoint is from ...

Amazing Amount of Detail from Nikon A211

I recently moved to Newport, Oregon and wanted to be able to view wildlife and see the ships at sea. These binoculars blew me away. They provide so much detail...my girlfriend and I are truly impressed and amazed. This is my first pair of binoculars so I really don't have anything to compare them too...but I am so happy with my purchase.

Outstanding Binoculars for any activity!

I own several different pairs of binoculars, bought over a stretch of 35 years. The Nikon 16 x 50 are absolutely outstanding for a wide variety of uses. From birding to star gazing to sporting events the performance is amazing! With the wonderful and justifiably famous Nikon optics there are no complaints. No Halo, No Spherical Aberration, perfectly crisp and sharp image across the entire field of view. At a little over 2 pounds they are fairly heavy; but if you have difficulty holding them stea...

Great nocs for the price.

Great optics. Roller focus works really well and quick. Rubberized coating is definitely non-slip. Quality neck strap.
