Disappointed

Disappointed. When you're paying a premium pricefor something, you want it to simply WORK. which these new cameras do not. My Arlo Pro cameras worked very well and never had any problems. Purchased the Arlo Pro 2 and have returned it twice already and same issues appeared everytime. Cameras will go offline for no reason and require the battery to be pulled out. And while being offline the battery drains drastically. And the night vision vs original arlo pro is 100% worse. very bad deal to be hon...

Horrible quality

Much worse than the original pro. Nightvision is hazy and grainy. Doesn't illuminate as well as the original pro. Multiple issues of devices going offline. Tried everything and arlo custoomer service wasn't able to help. Reading online this is happening to a lot of people. This is a pic of the nightvision

Install was simple, but only one adjustable mount is included. For the price there should be an adjustable for each camera. I bought Arlo because their big selling feature is wireless. The wireless sets them apart from the competition. That being said, the ability to create motion detection zones for each camera can only be done if the camera is hard wired. Since I can’t create zones on battery power, the front camera keeps picking up my flag when the wind blows and in one day the battery was ...

Stick with the older version

I have the original Arlo and Arlo Q. I love the audio features of the Arlo Q, and I hate buying batteries all the time, so when I saw this latest model that solved both as well as the promise of 1080p, I jumped on it despite the very high price. What a mistake. The audio is all but worthless. You have to put your mouth right up to the camera to hear anything. My arlo Q can pick up sounds from 50 feet away! The daytime quality is about the same as my original arlo (which is only 720p) while the n...

unfinished product, worse than pro

I bought this set with so much hope about 1080p and thought Arlo has good reputation in wireless cameras. Soon all the hope faded! First after installation noticed the 1080p resolution is more of a marketing gimmick than actual improvement in image quality. Quality of video is not different than pro. Worse is that these cameras are unreliable. As reported by most users in Arlo Pro 2's forum on their forum site, the cameras randomly go offline due to a bug and the only way to bring them back on i...

Best option for complete wireless

I purchased the original Arlo Pro in September. The Arlo Pro 2 was released so I bought it during the return period of the Arlo Pro 1 so I could see if 1080p made a big difference. It does and now I’m returning the Arlo Pro 1. Video resolution of the Pro 2 is much better and on par with a Canary we own that’s 1080p and used indoors while plugged in. We will likely buy a 5th Arlo camera to replace the Canary. Netgear’s Arlo app is very good and connecting cameras is easy. They give you 7 days of ...

Dissapointed

I am sorely disappointed in this camera setup. With how much the 4 camera kit costs, I would have expected a lot more. The picture quality sure isn't 1080p, night vision quality is terrible, the motion sensor reaction time is terrible, the battery life is poor on any cameras that see any normal activity. The app works okay and the setup was very easy. I threw the box away so I'm stuck with this thing but I warn everyone else, avoid this setup. Also, the Smartthings integration is a joke, the ...
