Great under $200 hunting tool
 
The NLB800 is well worth the sub-$200 price. You get a shirt pocket sized range finder with a 6X lens capable of accurate measurements using a solid support. Although the NcStar unit does not have angle compensation, I find that the vast majority of antelope, deer, and turkey hunting situations don't call for range adjustments for sharp up/down angles. Granted, if you hunt VERY steep terrain on a consistent basis, then a more expensive unit may be called-for. Using heights varying from 4-15 yard...

This seems to be a really good rangefinder, the only reason I gave it four stars is that I haven't taken it huning yet to see how it performs in the elements at difficult targets.
