Great microphone for great price

I'm making sort of home studio right now and I chose this mic for very good parameters and reasonable price for this kind of mic. Very solid and rich response for vocals and acoustic guitar - those are two I've tried sofar. The shockmount and pop-filter are very good as well. I am completely satisfied!

Good sounding mic

I just got this fella to do some basic sound recording(voice-over, sound effects, instruments, for various media projects) and it works great for that. It's not your top of the line studio mic, but for most Foley work or instrumentation it does the job, and does it well. I'm definitely satisfied

GREAT MIC!!

NOW LETS JUST START BUY SAYING THIS IS PRETTY MUCH THE BEST MIC I HAVE USED SO FAR. THE SOUND QUALITY IS VERY CRISP EVEN IN LARGE ROOMS. THIS MIC CAPTURES THE TRUE BASE AND ESSENCE OF YOUR VOCALS. A VERY SOLID SHOCK MOUNT WITH A CUSTOM POP FILTER WHICH IS VERY NICE. DEFIANTLY WORTH THE MONEY IF YOUR RUNNING A HOME STUDIO AND LOOKING FOR A GREAT MIC THEN LOOK NO FURTHER.

Wow...this is great

I want to make clear in my review that my main use for this microphone is for vocals. I record hip hop and R&B. This isn't my first mic, so I want everyone to understand I have at least five years experience as a engineer and over 2 decades as an underground artist.I've used all kinds of different mics and this one so far is my favorite. I've used the AT 4040 (wasn't mine, but a great mic), AT 2020 (pretty good mic), Sterling Audio ST55 (okay mic) and the MXL V67G Gold Large Capsule ...

Great Mic!

I have been recording Audio for well over a decade and Ive tried various mics. I was a little unsure of this despite the good reviews due in fact to the price. I was thinking how is a mic under $200 going to add up to higher end mics that I have used and spent hundreds on? Despite my reservations I bought it and it works woderfully. The vocals are crystal clear and I get great range of highs and lows without a preamp having to crunch down the highs. I recommend this item to anyone who is looking...

Deserves a 4.5 Rating, But It Is An Excellent Broadcasting & Vocal Microphone.

This large-diapraghm condenser microphone for vocals is a pretty sleek microphone. It is very sturdy and comes with some nifty gear (the windscreen is really sleek).I love it because it really captures your voice. Great for broadcasting, which I used for a podcast, and it is great for singing. However, I found that the Rode NT1A is the best and most well-rounded condenser microphone. Though there is nothing wrong with using the V87, it is just not out-of-the-box ready for certain rec...
