Excellent Keyboard for the Price
I bought this keyboard to replace my Logitech Elite Keyboard, which I spilled my drink all over. So far, I'm really growing to love it. I've always been a fan of the louder, more tactile keyboards (such as my old Elite board), so I was slightly hesitant to buy this keyboard since it types a bit more like a notebook keyboard than a typical desktop keyboard (it's actually kind of in-between the two). Quality Microsoft Keyboard
I picked up this keyboard as a replacement for my wireless desktop set. Most gamers know that using wireless peripherals can interfere with gaming to a large extent. Could have lasted longer...
I purchased this keyboard one month ago. Two days ago I began to notice the "W" key was sticking and today, the letter "A" is not altogether responsive.I waited for months for Microsoft to put this keyboard out mainly because of its previously listed length of 17.2 inches. It is, in fact, not 17.2" but 19.6". I needed a more compact keyboard and its smaller size is what initially attracted me to this one, but lo and behold, Microsoft sends yet another foul ball into the stands....

USB wired Microsoft Dig. Media Keyboard 3000
I have been looking for a good wired keyboard that is not very long from bottom to top as I have a large Display and have to sit closer and do not want to use the palm rest that are sooooooooooooooo deep from bottom to top row of first key row. I found this and it does the job wonderfully. The space bar is a little loud, but with a small update to software from Microsoft, this works great with Windows 7.

Look Elsewhere
after a few months i noticed that various keys would 'stick' - that there were delays in processing the physical release of keys.for example i would type d:\ and it would output d:| - the shift key would 'stick' and still process keystrokes as if it saw me still holding down the shift key.also somehow other various keys would 'stick' and for example when i was typing a word that had a 'c' in it it would open a 'my computer' window. typing a 'p' would open up some sort of ...

Boy what a swing and a miss!
I was looking forward to a new keyboard and this seemed to be a good deal. Well,Vista wouldn't load the software so none of the "fancy" keys would work. All I could do was type email. No zoom, volume, none of the extra keys worked. Tried loading the disc that came with it first as per the instructions and it just stopped very quickly and gave me an error code of 1601 and told me to look in the "help" file. What help file!" Tried downloading the drivers from the Microsoft site too (waste of time)...

Great Keyboard...two minor annoyances
I love this keyboard, it has a nice footprint so it fits on my desk, but still has lots of features. First off, the keys feel great. I'm not a big fan of this style of keyboard (the desktop kind, I like the laptop keyboards that are very clicky and have great feedback, the key snapping back and snapping down action) whereas desktop keyboards never have this as the new trend is mushy and super quiet, and you're typing...but you don't FEEL it. This keyboard is a nice balance, I've felt far mushier...

Maybe I got a bad one?
Well I am puzzled by the good reviews that this has received.The good reviews make me think that I perhaps received a bad unit?Many of the keys, particularly the space bar don't registerall the time. I like the multi-media features, but actuallytyping a document is a real chore.
