Good sound but a bit pricey
This sound bar is a good product and I like the fact that it pairs wirelessly with my LG 55" television. It mounts easily on the wall and looks good. The separate subwoofer has quite a bit of bass and I'm not sure I care for the constant background sounds that come from it when I'm just watching the news so I will probably turn it off unless I am watching a movie or sports or something where I really want surround sound. I spent 5 hours trying to install it, supposed to be a Bluetooth hook up, bottom line didn't work well even when installed. Saved another week to buy this one. omg this is awesome. LG Soundbar good complement to new LG 4K OLED
Purchased the NB5541 to complement the LG OLED TV. Very happy with connectivity and sound output of the NB5541. As others have said, the mid range audio is not great, but certainly better than the TV installed speakers. I am happy with the purchase. The overall sound quality is good, and some stores will discount the price since $599 is way more than the competition for its quality. But, I am happy with the purchase. Love the BASS.

Good, NOT GREAT!!!
This system is OK. Does not live up to the expectations of the demo in the store. Will not work independently of the TV if the optical cable is hooked up. I called customer service, they said if I want to use the sound bar without turning on the TV to unplug the optical cable. The product does have a great look and finish. Just wish I could turn it on without turning on the TV.
