Son LOves it
My 4 year old son plays this game all the time. I played with it one day and he was over me getting me to push the buttons for the correct answer faster. I guess at my age I am getting slow. My 2 year old also enjoys it.

Ka Chow and off to LEARNING!
My son is 4.5 yrs, loved the Cars movie and now loves this Leapster game cartridge. I had to pry it away from him after 3 hours of playing on the day he got it. It is a wonderful learning tool for kids 4-6 who are working on letters, words, spelling, phonics and numbers. The games are really fun and exciting, the characters have authentic voices from the movie, and there are multiple games to play. I would give this game cartridge an A+, worth the 24.99 I payed for it. If you have a child w...

Fun Movie-Based Game
My 3.5-year-old son enjoys this game on long car trips and waits that might otherwise seem unbearable. I find that it's not as educational as "Letters on the Loose." I had hoped, but really didn't expect it to be. It's based on the movie, and I suspect it was put together very quickly to both promote elements of the movie and try to make it in keeping with some of their other products. It's fun, and there's nothing wrong with a dose of entertainment here and there.

Dull video game - little educational value
This cartridge allows the child to choose from one of several race tracks to "race" on. Unfortunately, the activities or goals of each track are very similar. You either steer left or right to choose a letter/number/symbol. More time is spent on speeding up to grab a coin, jumping over oncoming dangers, or speeding ahead. As such, the educational value is really limited, while the video game aspect is what might keep a child playing. There is really no depth and very little thought behind each t...

Money well spent!
I bought this on a whim for my 3 1/2 year old son. He loves it and it entertains him for a good hour! He is advanced for his age, so I think the age suggestions are right on for this product. My almost 6 year old daughter also enjoys this game. There are several different levels, so it's challenging for both of them. On the lower levels, a simple knowledge of the ABC's is all that's required. On the higher levels, you'll need to complete words and know some spelling, etc There is a wonderful tut...

Big hit in my house!
My kids had all but stopped playing the Leapster when my 4 year old got this Cars cartridge. Both he and my six year old love playing the driving game. They played it all the way to the mountains 2 hours away! It's a good choice for the Leapster.

More tokens, more neon!
I bought this for my son's Leapster system and gave it too him just when we left for vacation. This kept him busy for the first hour of the drive. I admit I had some fun myself and I had to show him that he had to spend the money to light up the neon. However the change from lit to unlit was to say the least, underwhelming. Overall though this is more fun than learning but kids need to have fun sometimes!

inadequate information
This product does not list out the required device to work on. I thought it comes with the game machine already, or least can play on computer. It turns out wrong. Unfortunately the product information does not mention anything about the detail. I have nothing but return this item. Quite disappointing.(hide full review)
