Simple dock, looks good works great!
Package came in a nice small box, fit well and was protected well. Box was easy to open and the contents are easy to remove, no hassle. Great charge/sync dock for the iPhone
This is an excellent dock for charging and syncing your iPhone. I use it with the iPhone 4. By removing the sizing tray, I am even able to charge my phone with the case on. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good way to charge/sync your iPhone or iPod.

Please read before buying
My wife bought this dock from a third party seller, and even though the product was shipped by Amazon, it was not a new unit. We should have heeded warnings from other reviewers. It seems all these sellers, or at least the sellers with the lowest price, are selling used/refurbished units (or maybe even fake but there's no way for me to know for sure) that are defective or customer returns. Great
As advertised. Instead of placing my ipod touch on the desk grabbing the sync cable and inserting it in, now I just place it on the charger. It has its on secure space. Peace of mind! The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that I thought it would come with a wall adapter, so you could plug it into a wall socket. It does not. It only comes with a usb sync cable to charge from a computer. I bought it with the idea of placing this cradle on my nightstand.

If you have a cover for your iphone...this isnt the docking station for you.
The dock works really well as long as you dont have a case on your iphone. However, If you do have a case on it the flap that normally covers the port causes the phone to move on the docking station and therefor wont charge or sync. Its a good docking station as long as you dont have a case, but if you do I would suggest something else.

No audio output! Seriously, Kensington?
What's the point have a docking station without an audio output? There is no audio output on this unit. Basically, it's a usb adapter with a base for $20, which you can find one on auction site for 1/4 of the price. Failed!I have a Belkin Power Dock for iPod in other room, it works perfectly. And I wanted a black one for my desk...I still can't believe it, seriously Kensington? lol

Eh...not so good here
I ordered three of these for around our house, largely based on the good reviews here. While the unit feels sturdy and well built, all three were hard to get to charge our phones (iphone 3G and 4's). Now, two of the three have stopped working all together. Somebody else's problem...
I received the Kensington dock today and a power adapter. No other accessories were included. The dock and power adapter arrived in separate plastic bags enclosed in one larger bag and taped up. That was my first clue that I was not receiving a new product. Closer inspection of the dock confirmed my suspicions. The doc was scratched and dinged up. Very Pleased with Purchase !!!
I was using the Belkin dock for a while and it worked just fine. But it did not fit my iPhone4 when I used the Otter case. The Kensington did fit with a slight modification on the bottom of the case.It also seems to be a little heavier than the Belkin, which makes it easier to remove the phone. And what can we say about the color? It's black! I'm very happy with my Kensington purchase and am going to get another one!

Great little stand at excellent price for iPhone 4/4s
This is an excellent desktop dock. Solid construction, its weighted so it doesn't topple over and they look pretty good on the desk too. The price is the best part however- I picked them up for $12 a pop (compared to the official dock at $40 i think). I purchased three, one for home office, office and the bedroom.
