Terrible printer, stay away!
I would give this -5 stars if I could. I think HP should be banned from selling this product. Before purchasing this product, I did read a lot of negative reviews of this product. But against my better judgement, I made the purchase thinking "how bad can it be?" I was lured to purchase this product by its feature set, relatively low price and ink economy.Well, this unit is really great WHEN IT WORKS. The trouble is that it would stop working ALL THE TIME. This is my first HP printer....

Amazingly fast
I selected this printer for 2 reasons, 1. Speed of printing and 2. low ink utilization and larger ink cartridges. The first for speed is paying off great. It is the fastest printer I have ever had. As far as ink usage, it is too early to tell.The scanner and fax work great and I love the touch screen. Problems
My first printer that I bought had print head alignment issues right out of the box. After spending hours on the phone w HP tech support, and them sending replacement print heads. They would still not align. Sent the printer back to Amazon/PC Nation for replacement. I used to love HP printers. My old LJ4 was workhorse that lasted decades. Don't buy this brick!
This is the last printer we will ever buy from HP. It is cheap, unreliable, freezes up and is only concerned with genuine HP cartridges. HP customer service is awful! Don't even waste your time. This ink is terrible too, for the same $ I bought a Xerox 6140 color laser and now I have a brick in my office that sometimes works.

Lousy Lousy
Do not buy this. Shakes uncontrollably when printing and throws itself out of alignment. Have had multiple problems trying to print basic documents and labels alike.

Love The ePrint Feature
I bought this for three major reasons: I needed to print transparencies for class, I needed the ID copy feature for the student club I am President of, and I wanted something that would work with my HP laptop AND my iPad. Although no printer in production can print fast enough for me (I am a perpetually-running-late student), it is pretty cool that I can print to my printer while I'm sitting in class or while I'm driving back to school. ePrint is the best thing ever!! HP is TERRIBLE!!
We had nothing but trouble with this printer from the moment we took it out of the box. We have XP and were given no indication in the manuals or online that this would be an issue. I probably spent 20+ hours on the phone with HP "customer service" just to get the thing working. Even with all that time spent they were unable to set us up so we could access the online troubleshooting and we know what that means - once the product is off warranty, we'll have to pay them to resolve any issues!

Run! Buy something else!
I have owned this printer for just over a year. I bought it because my family and my small homebased business prints a lot. My last HP printer was fine but not wireless and was eating me alive in ink cost. This one cost $300 at the time and was supposed to use so much less ink that it would pay for itself. TOO BAD THE PRINTER DID NOT LIVE LONG ENOUGH! Last week it bagan to display the paper jam error message. After making sure it was all clear and going through the online trouble shooting guiide...
