WHAT GREAT BINOCULARS !!!!!!!

I bought these for Astronomy use to replace a cheap telescope. I am an industrial photographer who demands fine optics. A friend who writes for Astronomy Magazine told me good binoculars are a better investment than a cheap telescope and he was right. It's amazing what you can see with these and the eye relief is incredible. But what truly sold me is the hi-contrast and definition of objects. I use an adaptor to mount these on a tripod, as they do get heavy after extended use. These Binoculars w...

Eyeglass wearer's binocular

These are wonderful binoculars. Long 23mm eye relief is great for eyeglass wearers. Military grade construction and quality optics. Especially good for long distance/low light/astronomy viewing. Flat field eyepieces mean every thing is in focus across the field of view. Individual focus, set it once and don't bother with it again. You can adjust the focus for things that are closer, but really, this is for stuff that's far away. You can get filters for it that screw into the eyepiece. Just unscr...

top of the line binocular

The binoculars has the best coating I have ever seen in a binocular, no ghost images, perfect contrast, very sharp, flat field, wide angle and rought feel, I think the best option less than 1000 dolls, Perfect por hunt DSO´s and then watch at telescope.

Perfect

Perfect for stargaze without tripod, if you have enough strenght to hold 2Kg for a while. The 10x magnification allows much more light gathering than the 16x version, so you'll be able to see very faint stars and star clusters. If you are under 40 y/o you might be able to enjoy the full 7mm exit pupil feature. However, if you prefer an extra magnification to explore specific objects like the messier ones, the best option will be the 16x version with tripod (mandatory for magnifications over 12x)

great binocular

Use for about a week now mainly on bird watching, aeroplanes, bit of astronomy. Image is very clear and bright. A quality made binocular. it's a big binocular not easily carry around, better use a back pack. Not recommended for hunting.

very nice binos

I use the binos for astronomy. I attach them to a "parallel-gram" binocular mount which fits into a tripod. The individual eyepiece focusers are very smooth. The image is sharp and bright. Adjusting the inter-pupil distance is smooth.
