DESIGN ERROR
The product is great quality except for one thing!- A standard keyboard will not fit/slide underneath this stand. This forces the keyboard forward, in front of the stand, and can consume extra desk space and push your normal typing position forward, thus making the point of an ergonomic workspace invalid. I didn't realize this until I unpacked and setup the stand. I was frustrated the designers didn't think of this, as well as the packaging not mentioning that a keyboard would not partially slid...

Big Screen Riser
Helped, but base was too big. It took up too much space on my desk.

Solid Riser
I have a large monitor that cannot be adjusted for height. Most risers available won't take the weight or the width of the screen. I looked at every riser I could fine online; this one had the most promise. Indeed, it fits my need perfectly. While the legs can be raised, the riser is most stable with just the 4" lift. I am very pleased with the product.(hide full review)

Just What I Needed
The best thing about this riser is the little drawer. Currently I use a desk that has no storage at all, so the drawer on this riser was the deciding factor. It's not very deep, maybe only 1" but it stores my scissors, ruler, calculator, glue stick, post-it notes, pens, paperclips, etc. The riser itself feels sturdy and secure. I have a 17" flat screen monitor so there is plenty of room on the riser.

Feels cheap, performs great
Some of the other reviewers' comments about the feel of the product are correct: it does feel cheap and flimsy. However, for the average flat panel monitor (I have a 20" and 22" monitor sitting on these), it performs great. As far as looks are concerned, it's not as bad as some would make you believe. I use one inside a computer armoire, where it's barely visible. However, I have one (the premium model, actually) on my desk at work. Many colleagues keep inquiring about how to get one - bott...

Monitor Riser
This is a good item for the price. I have found that for proper ergonomics, you wouldn't have your keyboard underneath the stand in the first place! Your monitor is supposed to be 2-3" above eye level and 2-3" away from your extended arm (not right up in your face!), so the person who reviewed this before that says it puts your keyboard in front of the stand, it is because that is where it should be, and the monitor behind it so it is at the proper distance from your extended arm. The little dra...

Not wide enough
I bought this want something to give me more desk space. This did not work because my keyboard would not slide underneath. I sent this one back and ordered the Fellowes Office Suites Large Riser. It was exactly what I needed. The material is sufficient if you are not going to be moving it around a lot. I had no complaints there. It is plastic, but a hard plastic that does look professional.

good stable platform
I needed a riser not for a computer monitor, but to allow the placement of a cable box under a television in my children's toy room. Most risers are too small, or could not carry the weight of a television. This model fit perfectly, and is rated well above the weight of a normal 20 inch TV. The slide out drawer, even gives me a place to keep the remote. This was well worth the price.
