Great features, sound and convenience!

I am really enjoying this new receiver. I love the numerous HDMI ports. I love the HEOS app and functionality of being able to very easily stream my iTunes library from my PC and also stream Amazon Music and Spotify and control it all with voice commands through Echo/Alexa! Great stuff. Multi zones allows me to play music everywhere ! So happy I purchased this receiver.

Great upgrade

Great receiver sounds great. In my opinion it lacks some power but set up and speaker calibration was easy and helps if you have a odd layout In your theater room. My Crutchfield adviser was very helpful.

Denon AVR-X1300W

This receiver has some great features. Plenty of HDMI ports, 7.2 channels, blue tooth, wi fi, etc. I like the Audyssey sourround sound feature that sets the speaker tones for you. Great sound direction, you can literally step 4-5' outside of the listening area or zone and hear/feel the difference. You don't have full control over the EQ and you have to setup each port and channel for the receiver to work. You can't simply plug an HDMI cable in and start using.

Denon AVR-X1300W

Sounds great ,but usability and network ability are greatly exaggerated. The app is as bad as the reviews say it is. Crashes frequently locks out features and access to inputs at random. The quick conext buttons on the front reserves one button for the recievers online media so that you can only connect 3 of your inputs to a button on the front. I knew I had four devices I wanted easy access to and would have considered other recievers more strongly if I had known one reserved. It's not ha...

Massive improvement

I have been using a Onkyo amp for the past 9 years and enjoyed its sound quality very much....Until I bought this Denon last week on a whim while in Best Buy.All I can say is WOW...I am impressed and glad I did. It rreally brings out so much more in my Klipsch subwoofer and Boston Acoustics speakers. Excellent choice and a big thanks for the recommendation from the Best Buy rep.

Purchased a dent and scratch. It was fine for a while and then started randomly shutting itself off, the power light flashed red. Returned for credit.

Nice lower end receiver

Ok receiver for a SMALLER room. I have a new Samsung Smart TV SUHD, Occasionally The small remote that comes with the TV will not let you change cable TV channels. The TV goes threw the receiver, as per directions. So you have go back to Samsung set up to fix the remote. Never had this issue with my old receiver. So the Smart TV and the Smart Denon Receiver. do not communicate correctly all the time

Lots of features for the price.

I bought this receiver to replace my 10 year old Onkyo receiver. I must say I like the Wi-Fi and blue tooth features. Also, the image passthrough is much better quality than my old Onkyo. I like the flexibility of being able to tweak your sound. The only place where it dissappoints is the bass. While it does put out enough power, the bass for some reason sounds superficial and it is not room filling like the old Onkyo was. The power is good for small to medium size rooms, but you will want...

Inexpensive

Polished specs. Fully featured with long list of functions. At first the sound is impressive but after a while it's wearing with it's zippy balance. It's missing the gravitas of the aging Marantz it replaced. While it proudly displays Spotify logo - there is no Spotify direct...??? Yes it is rather inexpensive but it really shows in the construction especially the flimsy plastic front controls. Partnered with $3K+ loudspeakers this Denon shows it's simply inadequate. But that'...

User Interface needs update, no component video

I purchased this receiver with the intent to have a good quality A/V hub in my rec room that doesn't break the bank. I was underwhelmed by the user interface/setup ( almost reminded me of an old DOS computer interface) and the remote feels cheap and is as plain as you can get. Also, I didn't realize until I was connecting equipment that this receiver does not include any component video hook-ups. I have a couple of older pieces of equipment (older X-Box, DVD/VHS combo player) that do not have...
