Thought It Would be better than 665 N 300 Extreme
 
Just as others have written. This router advertises Dual Band. But sadly its up to you to decide what 1 frequency you want. Choose the 2.4GHZ for all your wireless b,g & n devices or choose the 5GHZ for the new wireless p devices. Additional problems with the 2.4GHZ WPA2-PSK encryption was sudden loss of signal & connection to this router. Not only my devices but other family & friends who also had wireless b,g & n devices. I was so glad I still had my old 655 N 300 Extreme router. I was wrong

Nice by setup a little harder
 
I have a lot better coverage throught out the house with fast Internet. The negatives are I couldn't use the 5 Ghz Band as some of my Laptop's internal Wifi cards did not support it. It did work well on my I-pad when I tried it. I had to turn off the Channel auto scan in the Setup, as my Internet would stop working on my I-pad when the Router switched Channels. I had to go into my I-pad setting and renew the lease on my Network to get it working again.

Do Not Buy If You Need Wireless to Stay Connected!
 
My Fiancee's cellphone has never been able to maintain a connection to this router. Now my laptop and kindle fire are having issues staying connected or getting connected in the first place. I have been through all sorts of troubleshooting and have been unable to get it to work.I will not call the company because they expect you to pay 40 bucks for a phone call. There are no firmware updates for the router and there are post production firmware updates for newer routers from D-Link. I honestly

Great Router - Interesting setup
 
I bought this router to replace a Linksys E series because I was having issues with Facetime freezing up and losing connection on me (even when the devices were in my home - testing purposes, ok). So I decided to change out the router...So far it's working very well and Facetime is seamless, even in the home.Interesting way setting it up. According the instructions - I must have the router connected to the internet in order the get to the internal splash page. Never had to that before. I
