I thought I'd give my out of the box experience and add down the line. This is my first machine; I got tired of paying those prices at the coffee shop and leaving my house to get that perfect latte. The all stainless steel design seems strong and looks good. I do have to hold the machine down when I put the portafilter on/off. I also bought a gaggia ginder which i paid more for than my espesso machine. I got my machine/grinder before i got the coffee I ordered so ran down to the small local groc...

Great Espresso Machine

I almost didn't purchase this machine due to the negative review. I have purchased other Cuisinart products and their customer service is always excellent, so I decided to go with a Cuisinart product. After doing several hours of researching espresso machines, this one met all of the requirements for a good espresso machine. I have been more than pleased with my purchase. It is a very durable product and I would recommend this to anyone. Makes great espressos, mochas, cappuccinos, and more.

Great Espresso Maker!!!

I almost didn't get this espresso maker because of some of the reviews I've read. I got it anyway and I'm glad I did. I haven't had any issues with it yet. It makes a great espresso. The lasts two cheap espresso makers I bought, broke on me right out of the box. I finally decided to get one of quality. I'm extremely happy with this one so far.

DON'T BUY!!!

I loved the look of this machine, nice design, built well and its a Cuisinart. The first couple times I used it, it delivered a great cappuccino. I used it a total of 3 times before it crapped out on me. I turned it and all the buttons started flashing and wouldn't work. I tried contacting Cuisinart but it took them over a week to get back to me, by than I had returned the machine. Best buy took it back without any problems. This is an absolute don't buy.

DON'T BUY IT!!!!!!!!!!!

We bought this exact model from BB&B 6 months ago (and at the time it was going for $250.00) with in a few months the wand started leaking, the drip tray wasn't catching the drips (so we ended up getting puddles under the maker every time we used it), The wand is held in with a cheap nylon/plastic nut (that's why it feels like it's loose right from the get go...and ended up leaking couple months later...my bad was that I shredded my receipt for it right after I entered the info into my check boo...

Great machine for the price

This machine makes great espresso, it is the perfect size for the counter---even for a smaller kitchen. It's easy to use, I did watch the video, and there is next to no clean up. I don't see the point in going any higher in price or size.

Great value for the price

The Cuisinart EM200 is the best at-home espresso machine in this price point. I have owned DeLonghi (never enough pressure to foam milk) and Krups (unreliable) and 4+ years ago I bought the EM200 at Bed, Bath and Beyond. It never failed me however I did have to descale it more often in the last 2 years of use but I attribute this to hard water. My only complaint is the stainless steel drip tray which rusted but was still fully functional just not pretty to look at. Overall the machine is sturdy,...

The best place to buy Appliances is BB & B

This is the cheapest programmable Expresso maker on the market, and that is what we need. However, if we had bought this anywhere but Bed, Bath and Beyond, it probably wouldn't be worth it, because this thing breaks down all the time. After the last burn out, I went to my Amazon review and realized that we have had 5 over the last two years. Cuisinart offers a three year warranty, but factory warranties are a hassle and usually require shipping and other fees. With Bed, Bath and Beyond, you can ...

Horrible machine

This is the 2nd machine in 7 months that has broken. The first one, constantly leaked water out of the steam wand. Bed, Bath & Beyond allowed me to exchange it for the same machine. Now this machine has died within 5 months. It worked great for 4 1/2 months then suddenly stopped working. There is not enough pressure to push the water through the grounds. Definitely would not recommend buying.
