Great Amazon & Creative support!
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Creative Zen Vision 30 GB Multimedia Player Black (Electronics) The player does all that it says. But everyone's worst nightmare is getting a bad one out of the box, which happened to me. I called Creative support and the helped me confirm the hard drive was defective. Then I told Amazon and in 5 minutes had a prepaid return label and a new player within the week. That is great in anyone's book. Still

great for the plane
This review is from: Creative Zen Vision 30 GB Multimedia Player Black (Electronics) I've had this 1 year now. It's great for air trips. I watch a movie, then put on songs. I have about 10 movies, 80 pictures and 400 songs loaded. The batery lasts about 4 hours for video or 2 hours of video and 5 hours of music. I use DVDshrink (freeware) and CloneDVDmobile to copy movies to the viewer. It does occasionally lock up but if you remove the batery and reconnect it the veiwer always restarts.

A Versatile All In One Feature Packed Device
The Creative Zen Vision is my first Hard drive based mp3 player and so far its been a wonderful experience. The abundance of features and the absolutely massive screen is basically why I bought this over other mainstream players. The 3.7" LCD is quite possibly unmatched by any other product out there. What's really amazing is the 640X480 resolution. I mean it wasn't THAT long ago that the max rez on my 14" CRT was 640X480!!!!

Great Product
This is a great product for the price but has some exceptions. The screen is amazing to watch videos and the 30Gb storage space is very handy. The music quality is good. The headphones provided with the product are of really bad quality and it would be great if they were replaced by the ear-bud style headphones from creative.
The software is good except for the conversion tool to convert videos to supported formats which always complains and never worked for me.

BANG for the buck
Its bigger and heavier than an IPOD, but just like the ipod it isn't gonna be carried around in your front pocket all day. this is great for video playback, I bought it to share movies and pictures with relatives in Europe and to keep my occupied on the plane and bus. for my purpose, it's an A+.
In order to be durable the screen is THICK, so you have to find sweet-spots in order to watch movies on it. HOWEVER, finding a sweet spot is EASY AND TWO PEOPLE people could comfortably watch
