Drive failed after 19 months

SSD worked great for 19 months then one day the windows operating system blue screened with a IO error and the device was not detected during POST by the BIOS. Will update when I hear back from Corsair since the device is past the date that Amazon will accept returns.

I haven't had any issues with it. It added new life to my HP tx2-1275dx laptop. It is now my highest windows experience index score at 7.4. With this drive my machine boots quickly and my compile times are faster too.

Mine went out after 6 months with the BSOD in Windows 7 and wouldn't detect by Bios. I signed up for an RMA # on Corsair's website, and received an email saying I would be contacted within 5 days. About 5 days later, I got an email explaining the RMA process and a number. I sent the drive in and received another email

Defective design
 
This review is from: Corsair 120 GB Force Series Ultra Fast TRIM Supported Solid State Drive CSSD-F120GB2-BRKT (Personal Computers) If you plan to use this SSD on any decent operating system that has TRIM support, you're in for a world of hurt and pain. Corsair shipped these drives with a couple serious defects and have since only patched a couple of the minor ones. I highly recommend you avoid Corsair entirely. Plenty of other SSD vendors to buy from with better quality control.
