Not for the timid or faint of heart

We use routers in supporting multiple subnets in our shop and in support of our clients with internal VPN's. We were misguided by customer support to reconfigure our entire internal network (12 devices) as the first support rep said that we had to move everything off the 192.168.1.x to 192.168.144.xWe called again for assistance in setting up PPTP into our shop, as the first rep did not know how. The second rep blew away our configuration that was working. We are an IT shop with many years of ...

Good, but not the best

The product is good and the signal is great, but it has some serious flaws for being priced where it is.- The antenna can only in either 2.4GHZ or 5GHZ not both at the same time.- The devices control panel has a horrible user interface and is extremely hard to navigate.- Wireless on the device has shut off by itself a few times and only comes back on when reset.- There is no easy way to update the firmware

Perfect for a small business environment

Use as your broadband Internet router and firewall with integrated wireless support. Features One-to-One NAT (network address translation), port-forwarding and up-to-date security protocols. We upgraded to this device to take advantage of the newer, high bandwidths (speeds) and it tested perfectly.

It's not upto the mark...

I had Cisco LinkSys wireless router (not small business one) and that performed well for almost 4+ years. Hence thought of investing in this Cisco SB router to setup my home network. I do not have much to mention on the plus side for this product, hence below, only the minus about it:- Web console is to slow; some time it's getting stuck. You need to click on web browser refresh button.- Wireless network is very slow- DHCP configuration not user friendly; i.e., not able to specify the name while...

Powerful and Easy to set up

This unit is used in a home business environment. It has a robust feature set and is easy to set up. Signal strength is strong and it excells where other routers failed in the past.

Great Cisco product as usual

The product is used in a SMB network infrastructure utilizing both wired and wireless capabilities. It's throughput is very fast. Small form factor with great wireless range. Has great security featuresWeb configuration interface is a bit slow.Does not have the best intuitive configuration interface for beginners or average users.Great product nonetheless.

Lots of stuff inside this little box...

Typical Cisco quality - steel case, sturdy build. Configuration and usability are a breeze and it's packed to the gills with features.

VERY Nice BUT Expect to CALL CISCO 3X

Very complete and strong unit.UI is pretty OBTUSE-NON-INTUITIVE. Page changes are SLOW!!HOWEVER, I bought two, one for the office and one for the house for Hardware VPN connections between both and to client sites in TX & FL. Good investment. BUT WOULD HAVE FAILED without the OUTSTANDING SUPPORT FROM CISCO. Should have called CISCO earlier!!!
