Regular zip ties are very useful, but they cannot be adjusted so you end up cutting them off and throwing them away. These have a release tab that allows you to loosen or remove them so they can be reused. The release tab can be difficult to activate sometimes so they might not be ideal if you had to constantly open and close them, but for temporary use or where you need to make occasional changes they are great.

I was impressed using these to attach my mouth piece to different scuba regulators so I bought some to attach bike parts... They are easily removable and hold well. I have had one mysteriously fracture, which was holding a Garmin mount on my bike but I think it was the exposure to freezing temps that just made it too brittle.

The picture "indicated" an assortment of lengths...I needed a variety...received a 50-pack of small 8" ties...don't need them...not worth $10...not worth sending back..

I use these cable ties to secure accessories to my bicycle. My favorite use is to secure my panniers to my rear bicycle rack because I occasionally kick them. These cable ties hold them in place and release easily so I can still take my panniers off the bike. I tighten and release these twice daily. Very reusable.

releasable/reusable zip ties. These have a small clip on the head which releases. I have had some in the pase with larger release clips which were easy to use. Also the larger release clips draw attention to the release so people don't inadvertently cut them .
