Great but not so good
This unit was a snap to set up. It works great on the wireless network part, very good range. However, on the hard wire net to my desktop, it was junk. It would continually drop the desktop off the net, every 50 seconds to be exact. It was almost impossible to do anything on the net. I suspect it is just a bad unit. But I won't buy another. I replaced it with a D-Link DIR-625, It works great.

to replace westell 327
I purchased this router to replace my westell,I wish I would have realized that you have to use a modem with this router,my westell has the modem built right in.This review is not solely written for using this router but possibly will be of some help to the next purchaser.In set up you do need a existing working modem,and to be internet ready.

This Router Is Crap. I Wasted My Money, & Support
Ok to start off this router was realy nice looking out of the box black with a glossy finish. That was about all the good I got out of it. I had a problem getting on the net so I called customer support for some help. What I got was not help but a big wast of time. Setup was very quick and easy. However I had issues the first few days. I was unable to connect my Wii to the router. After some searching I did find out that Belkin has a few wireless routers that do not work with the Wii. After trying many different things. I just reset the router to the factory defaults and it worked. If you have a Mac... DO NOT BUY THIS ROUTER!!!!

It tells me that I have a full signal, but I can not connect to the internet! Do not bother buying this router if you have a mac. My bro's PC works perfectly fine though!
