So far so good.
I bought 2 of these along with 2 P1344's. I also reviewed the 1344's.These M1054's hooked right up with my security system and after a couple of weeks have not had any problems. These cameras do get hot. I had one inside looking out a window. When I set it up the sun was not on the camera. After a few hours (obviously) the sun was shining on the camera and the 1054 got very hot. It was hot enough that I could not hold it in my bare hand.I know excessive heat and electronics don't mix so I atached...

First Axis Camera Purchase
The camera is easy to set up and make changes to via the web interface. Video quality is pretty good. As reviews I have read, the video is not as sharp as some other cameras with the same resolution, but good enough for this price range of camera. And it's smaller than many cameras with the same specs. And I like the PoE capability, which is one of the main reasons I bought this one. Great value.

great product
I use this product at home, so far set up was a breeze, there is a great video for set up on youtube step by step. I am going to connect it to my house alarm. Good about it: small, LED light is better than night vision, has PoE feature, I am not techy and I consider it user friendly, finally tech support for axis is great(fast answering the phone)Bad: not wireless BUT PoE makes up for it, clamp could be a tiny bit bigger to fit on a door but overall is not bad.YES! Worth the price, image qualit...

Exceelent camera
Although I couldn't find it in the instructions (who reads instructions?)you need to have java enabled in your browser for some of the configurations. I initially had java disabled and for awhile, couldn't figure out why I wasn't able to access some of the settings. The viewer works in Chrome-I/E and Firefox, but is best viewed in I/E so that all of the extensions and codecs work. Since I rarely use I/E this also took some time to figure out. Picture quality is excellent for a remote viewer came...

Pure satisfaction
I would totally recommend this Axis camera - their cameras are a bit more expensive, but the reliability is simply great. Also they have implemented the One-Click technology - with this together with click2stream you get the simplest way how to add the camera.

Quality POE + Audio camera
Axis Communications gear is quality and I am a big fan. I liked this camera for a location that needed a combination of PIR, Audio and POE. This unit fits the bill nicely. My only reason for 4 versus 5 stars is the ambient audio pickup. While the audio gain can be adjusted to somewhat compensate, if you plan to use rely on the audio feed, consider an external microphone.

M1504 Review
Using the camera to watch front door via browser. Have a PoE environment, needed a wired camera, this one fit the bill nicely. Setup was easy. Chrome had no problems getting the imagery, IE, you need to add to compatibility settings, AFTER you log in as admin to the PC and install the viewer software. From there its worked great for end users. Not using Mic. Some 'modes' such as Bandwidth etc.. require quicktime or such. We opted not to use those but keep it simple and use 'motion jpeg' setting....
