Elegant and efficient

This amp has a handsome appearance; it appears well-constructed with banana connectors and silky controls. It is certainly not difficult to set up and even offers selectable A/B speaker outputs. It is also compact and produces relatively little heat. I'm hearing new detail in music I know well and have not heard before. In other words, the sound quality seems very good. The worst part is simply finding a piece of equipment like this since all one normally sees is much larger, heavier receivers w...

Better then I originally thought - Will Update When re-purchased!

I bought this product for 1 of 2 uses. 1. Use as a amp for a variable output from a flat panel tv to drive 2 speakers. 2. Use as a amp for a variable output from a MAC pro to drive 2 speakers. It FAILED in both instances. As an amp, sure it works...when it wants to. The main feature I liked was the automatic on/off setting so that it could be used in a GREEN environment---so to speak. That part works....the only PROBLEM is when you are watching TV and a slightly s...

Pheonix Gold AudioSource ABP-100 Amplifier

This is an excellent Amplifier. It does not have the Speaker Audio cables included. You have to order them separately. Also, if you want to have two inputs you need to get an audio Input cable (2 RCA connectors to 2 RCA connectors). It does not need this for one audio input. If you want two inputs here is an example. DVD-CD input and TV input. Input one has priority. However, if audio is not coming in on input one then input two takes over.

perfect for my needs

I needed a second amp to drive my BOSE outdoor speakers from my new Pioneer Eliete AV receiver and this unit works perfectly.I highly recommend it as a 2nd amp for anyone who wants to drive more than one zone from an AV Receiver.

Good Affordable Power Amp

This amp was a great buy. I've used it connected to my Imac. Not too big to fit on a decent sized computer desk, and doesn't run extremely hot either. Simple setup, simple controls. Does what it is supposed to do- provide power to my speakers without any issues. Sounds great too.

Great for certain requirements

If you want a well-built amplifier that can be hid away and doesn't need to be turned on and off, this is a great choice. It's heavy and well-built for the price, and the auto-sensing means that it will turn itself on and off according to whether an audio signal is present or not, so you don't need to turn it on and off yourself. The bridging feature is also interesting, seeing as single speakers with stereo inputs are not that plentiful and are often expensive for good ones.

AMP 100 Dream Amp

The most important thing about this amp is to use the line 2 inputs for your regular music. The line 1 inputs are a temporary source that is designed to cut into line 2 and then turn off when no signal is present at line 1. Line 2 inputs are for everyday music. If you want both A and B zones all you have to do is push them both in at once. Be careful, you must have 8 ohm speakers to do this. This allows you to run 4 total speakers in two separate zones. Talk about versitile! The other great thing ...

Fine Little Amp

I'm using this in a fixed installation at a vacation cabin with a lap-top for Internet radio and a plug for folks to hook up their portable players. I am very pleased. On the bench it easily met its power spec at 20 kHz. I did not do a distortion measurement but it looks and sounds clean. I love the functional and elegant product design -- a rare thing these days. Convection cooling with no irritating fan is nice too. The high threshold for the auto power-on may be an issue for some users -- don...

Solid Build Great Value

Perfect Amp for powering a few pool speakers. Very slim with a solid feel. Sound is clear and crisp. There is no ability to adjust bass or treble but that was not an issue for me. It has a few neat auto switching features for inputs and the auto on feature is also a nice touch.
