Perfect for keyboard player/singer!

This review is from: Audio Technica ATM75 Headset Microphone I just got this mic and tried it for the first time - I LOVE it! It does have a wire, but that's OK, I'm a keyboard player and don't move enough to make it matter. The amazing freedom this gave me on the first song was wonderful! Quality was very good, although when I hummed, the mic didn't pick it up - I'll have to fuss with the settings a little more. I used the phantom power from the board and even with monit...

Decent sound, but uncomfortable to wear

This headset mic doesn't sound too bad, but because it's not adjustable, it is uncomfortable to wear for a longer period of time.

Great headworn microphone!

I just purchased this mic and although I have not had a chance to use it too much yet, I know if it ever broke, I'd replace it in a heartbeat-- When I first tested it out, I was wearing it for about 10 minutes when I realized I had completely forgot I was wearing it! It becomes part of your head! Go ahead and shake your head all around- it's not going anywhere! If you do DJ work and sit behind a sound mixer, and don't move too far from your mixer and don't mind NOT being wireless, this unit is d...

Good mic BUT no "cough mute" button, no volume control on power unit

Pros: Good mic (for the money).. stays put, fidelity is excellent. Cons: Altho there is an off/on switch... pops horribly when used (so you cant use it as a cough mute). Trying to hook up mic-preamp (rolls) with volume control.. too much gain.. (need to pad down out put) IF you have a -10 or -20 db switch on mixer, no problem. If not, you need to buy a pad (I have a variable) BUT... have found that phantom power doesn't go through the pad.Hint to manufactures... I had an old TOA u...

Very good & comfortable vocal mic

I've used this mic for maybe 50 shows. I play bass, sing, and like to run and jump around quite a bit on stage. (Considered going wireless, but dealing with wireless guitar thing PLUS wireless vocal thing seems too much until maybe someday I get a roadie and sound-man.) So I banded together my guitar cord and microphone cord which attaches to this mic, and can move quite a bit!The headset is pretty comfortable and the mic can be positioned on either side of your face. It's pretty de...

Sounds great. Needs adjustable headband.

Great sound quality for its size. Works great with my FocusRite Scarlett 2i2. Didn't get 5 stars because headband is not adjustable but I can live with it.
