Spotty reception
What's great about it: Easy setup and cheap price What's not so great: Poor reception I bought this antenna based on some of the reviews I read online and the price I was willing to pay for a HD antenna. Misleading - another ho-hum antenna
I am an engineer working in the DTV and PCTV area, so I am always on a look out for a good antenna. Unfortunately, the antenna's performance is ho-hum at best. I've used several industry standard signal meters to assess sensitivity and receiption pattern of this antenna using signals from 3 major TV transmitter towers in the SF Bay area, i.e., Sutro Tower, Mt. Misleading specifications
The specification of this antenna on its box is 25 Mile Range, Peak Gain of 4.5 dBi as against the 8.3/8.25 dBi mentioned in the specifications not just on amazon but everywhere, even in Antenna Direct's website. This means just around half the gain of what is claimed. The antenna did no better than an RCA ANT200B of just 15-20$.

Works in its 25 miles
It works just as it says in its 25 miles. When I was at my home near Nashville I could get the stations perfectly. When I went back to school in Auburn, I could get stations from Montgomery, which is further than 25 miles away, but they would go out sometimes. As I said, it works as described, but if you need more than 25 miles, get the next step up (what I ended up doing).

No Worky
What's great about it: "very aerodynamic" What's not so great: no reception I'm in suburban SE Denver about 30 miles from the towers. I'm in a poor reception area and bought this antenna based upon the positive reviews. For me the performance was worse than either of my other indoor antennas. No picture at all on one set and only a couple of stations on my other set. I'll take it back and try something else.
