Acer One Laptop
Still upset with my laptop, after recieving it, it had no microsoft number(ID) so I have not been able to use any powerpoint, excell, word, etc. and the security Mac ran out in like two days. The computer is superr slow and I have a fast interenet provider. Great for trips except if your not patient don't get it. This is about the Acer Aspire One AOD250-1151 10.1 inch black netbook. And of course it did NOT come with a charger and I had to go pay $70 for one at a local radio shack.

Good for the price; a few big problems after a year or so of use
This computer was a great buy at about $300 in 2010, but by the end of 2011 it has started to give me trouble. I don't use it very often and carry it carefully in a padded bag. Usually, all I use it for is to run PowerPoint presentations. It works great for that and even for Skype.Here are the three issues I've had:1. It randomly boots itself off of the internet, and I have to reinstall the driver for the ethernet card. That's a problem I've had with every laptop I've ever owned.2. It

Good netbook after installing Linux.
My wife bought this used from a friend. We dumped the Windows, installed Linux, upgraded to 2gigs of ram, and this little computer really runs fine. We use it for streaming HBOGO from our wireless modem. My wife uses it for everything, Skype, word processing, surfing the net. Great deal for the price we paid. It has to be upgraded for it to be useful; ram and OS. Dump the Windows, install Linux from a USB stick and you're ready to rock and roll.

It broke after 5 months
This device was awesome for about 4 months, but after heavy use on the internet, the hard drive was eventually killed by spyware. I will probably replace hard drive one day. But until then I will rely on my MacBook...

love my ACERS
My first acer I saw it on HSN watched it for several hours I thought it was so cool little and fast I am so sick and tired of my desktop running and the fan LOUD it was sooooo loud I bought the first one in12-08 pink and white it was so cute paid 289.00 at FRYS these were the very first ones then a week later I bought a all white one at FYRS for $50 more because it had a bigger hard drive the ram was the same on both of them 1gig we took the pink and white on and hucked up a monitor and mouse
